You guys weren't kidding about the dogs. This neighborhood was nothing but barks and yelps once the fireworks started.

Holy crap, Beane being Beane.
Why wait until the trade deadline when you can beat everyone to the punch!
It makes sense to trade as early as possible to get the maximum number of games from the acquired players.
Cubs' starters are the new market inefficiency.
+1.05 WGOM bucks
June?
That's just Beane arranging for an extra month of Samardzija. He startedearly.
Signs of heat stroke. But it's a dry heat.
Oh, for the love indeed.
With Jeff's comment about the radio ad for the AS Game, it got me thinking about the roster of ads playing this year. Here's my picks:
Best: AmericInn and the Random Acts of Vacation -- clever script and really good voice actors. Both of their ads are quality.
Runner up: TC Bear song -- the Perk song is also pretty good, but I feel bad for Dozier and his "flow" (is that the best they could do??)
Worst: Seatbelt Safety -- annoyingly characters and about twice as long as it should be.
Runner up: Foster Parents -- it was a fine ad LAST YEAR, but they doubled the length by adding what was probably on the cutting room floor from the first run, and now it's uncomfortably long plus we're already sick of it after a year of listening to it before.
PSAs tend to be run forever, so that even good ones get annoying after a while. I agree on liking the T. C. Bear song, but then, I would.
You're probably right on the PSAs, and they probably tend to skimp on the voice actors as well.
The notable exception would be any PSAs created by Dick Orkin's Radio Ranch.
I have the Messis and Belgians tied at 1-1 after normal time.
Where was this "barely able to hold possession" Belgian team Tuesday?
btw, noticed a "Jose F. Barrios" in the credits of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I think his credit was something like "handed a handkerchief to the third grip when he sneezed"

He was the rigging grip.
