I just got done with one of the best sales weeks of my life. Hopefully this one isn't a disaster in comparison.

I booked the early flight back from Nashville today 1) because it was cheapest and 2)I wanted to be back over Austin for the World Cup final. But I partied a little too hardily last night. So I'm on the later flight now and I'm gonna miss the match.
Ugh, don't ever travel with in laws. My sister in law has completely ruined this trip simply because she didn't get to go f***ing paddle boarding on a particular day. She's feuding with my wife and trying to turn everyone against her and its the absolute worst. When we get back I'm not allowing my wife's family to have anything to do with us any longer. It sucks, but they're completely useless anyway.
Sorry for the rant, I just really needed to get that off my chest.
Sorry to hear this. With a young family, I've learned that real, actual vacations are hard to come by. When one turns into a "trip" because of outside actors, I can only imagine it's doubly stoopid. Good luck with the separation.
Thanks. It's been brutal, bu she changed her flight so she's getting the hell out tomorrow. We'll have one day in Boston with just me, my wife and the kids so maybe we can make it an actual vacation.
Family, ammiright?
Sitting @ the airport on the way to Omerha. So I was thinking - why don't the Atlanta Braves simply switch their name to the Atlanta Brave? Sure, it's a bit lame, but it's not that big of a change.
Their stadium would truly be "The Home of the Brave".
they should be the Georgia Peaches. Build a Ty Cobb statue for in front of the stadium.
Free and I have got Germany 2-0
Mags has Germany 2-1
AMR has Argentina 2-1
And here... we... go.
The chance that a second game this Copa would end regular time 0-0 and extra time 2-1 must be really remote.
Also, I picked Argentina because I thought everyone else would pick Germany and then I for sure wouldn't win.
Oh wait! I win if Argentina wins! Go Argentines!
Also, we had the wrong time.
HPR and I were working on the "old house" (former rental, going to market ASAP), planning to get back partly into the first half, but Kept pushing a few minutes later.
We got home, turned on the TV and it was 84'.
Dang.
That's what I get for drinking a Gose. A Gol from Götze
Just two minutes? WTF???
C'mon Messi!!!
That stunk.
Not even a Maradona coaching to make me happy for Argentina's loss.
I swear I saw Schweinsteiger clutching his shin as he emerged from the victory pile.
cc to AMR: Linds and i went to Carlos State Park today, and I actually remembered to look for the flycatcher nest. The verdict? I must suck at finding nests. We looked around right where you described, and I couldn't see anything. Sorry.
Someone else looked and couldn't find it. Must have been a nest from something else from the prior year that was falling apart. Which was my suspicion, but I couldn't verify.
Got a note 'In Loving Memory of':
An old friend of the family, guy that served with Dad a long time ago. We had traded Christmas cards for many years.
RIP Roger D. Topp.
Late Sunday night is probably not the best time to post an article, but this story about Pat Neshek is a must read.
It's very good. Thanks for posting it, even on Sunday night.
