My brother's bride is a real concrete sequential, and as such, the next couple of days are scheduled to the second. I hope there's time for fun, and honestly, I mean for her more than anyone.

I'm trying to work on the next half-baked hall ballot, but right now baseball reference is down as far as logging in with Facebook goes, and that's where my login information is stored. I reported the bug but so far I have received no response.
If there's anybody here who has a non-Facebook account with them and I can log in, I would appreciate it if you could PM me your login information.

My local consulting office had an after-work mixer on Wednesday evening, which always leaves me with mixed feelings. As a consultant and working from home, I knew none of the local office managers or staff, and working by myself, I kn0w none of the other consultants in the St. Louis area anymore. Still, free food and drink, and I turned out to be a bit of a celebrity, having been an employee of the company* since 1992, at least 4x the tenure of the next highest consultant there. Only the regional manager from K.C. has been longer, by three years. Did I mention free food and drink?
*never changed consulting employer, but with several mergers, going public, splitting off, going private, and merging more -- at least six different companies and seven different names.
Careful about that free food and drink. π
they couldn't get a Starbucks coffee with what the taxes would be. whatever
Apparently, Ron Washington has resigned his manager's position.
"Personal reasons," but the management made sure to note it was not drug-related.
