The best part about the collusion scandal in the 1980s is that the OWNERS(!) originally demanded the anti-collusion language of the CBA because both Koufax and Drysdale agreed not to sign before 1966 unless EACH got paid what they demanded (I think $100K). Talk about being careful what you ask for.
I've been wanting to move to the cities for years now, but inertia and loyalty have kept me where I am. Now it looks like I'm going to make the move, but I'm feeling like an anxious graduating senior who doesn't have a job lined up. It's nice that the Twins got their 90 loss seasons out of the way before I get there, though.
That's too bad. I hope something good comes from it.
Yikes! Well, I hope things go smoothly. I'm sure you're aware that many residential areas of the metro are currently (or formerly) home to Citizens - don't hesitate to ask for info if you need any help.
I'm one of those citizens. Not sure how urgent your timeline is, but we're moving out of a place (this weekend) that will be available for rent. Or for sale.
Good luck to you.
Hang in there. You'll be in our prayers.
When Microsoft closes a door google opens a window. Good luck in the Minne Apple.
That sucks a lot. I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck in the Cities.
I don't know what you did there, but judging only on superficial details, we're hiring and you may be interested in some of the positions. Oh, and it would be in downtown St. Paul.
Edit: Can either email me (my name at this site) a resume/what you're looking for or I can send the careers page for your perusal.
The WGOM delivers. I'm continually surprised at this site.
Networking! It really works!
Thanks everyone
I'll see what positions we have open, too. Any health IT experience at all?
Heard that the 2014 CT bird report had come out, but don't see it yet.
Not liking that Aerial Insectivores are declining...
No. I think people spraying for bugs brings bug populations down and the birds with it.
Still, I saw tons of Swifts and Swallows over the summer. I do miss nighthawks, though I still get to see them migrating.
Collusion? In baseball? There's never been any collusion in baseball...whatever are you talking about your honor?
