I heard a rumor we're gonna send Krill to Nebraska.
I know you are jesting, but with a new stadium, and that fact that the U is in the Twin Cities rather than Lincoln, and the appearance that one can build a competitive program at the U now, why would a coach leave Minnesota for Nebraska? I mean, I am FROM Nebraska. I have no desire to live there, and the in-state recruiting base is much smaller. Jerry should be able to build a sustainable program that can compete for B1G titles regularly and maybe even get into the national title picture occasionally.

This was from 2 years ago, but the Cornhuskers have some of the best facilities in the country, plus there is no doubt that football is the No. 1 priority at the school. I'm not saying he will take it, I don't think he will as long as he believes Minnesota is committed to improving the facilities, but Nebraska will most likely get a better bowl bid than Minnesota and their coach was fired for that.

my money is on a Nebraska Man, such as Scott Frost or Craig Bohl. Or even Turner Gill, who got screwed over at Kansas and has been successful on the smaller stages at Buffalo and now Liberty.
Yes, they tried the outsider route once and got Callahan'd, so I bet this search is even more stacked with insiders than the one just run by the Twins. If they get an outsider, it'll be one a LOT more sexy than Jerry Kill!
Pelini was the inside guy in response to Callahan. I'd be very surprised if Kill is not a serious consideration for Nebraska.

Making my way back to Texas from Indiana. Flights today were expensive even when I bought them weeks back. Flying between two relatively small market airports didn't help either. Silver lining: it was only $15 to upgrade to business select, which means priority boarding (hello, emergency row leg room) and a free beer.
Shouldn't they be paying you to fly back into Texas?

A walk-on Ohio State lineman apparently committed suicide after battling concussions. The evidence keeps piling up.
Now I feel worse for having been made to watch the game yesterday.
