Got any good box sets or other good music collections?
P.S. Remember, next week's FMD is reserved for best of 2014 lists.
I'll allow complaints today about how some publication or other put Beyoncé's late 2013 s/t album on their list.

Lydia - Turf
No random list today, but I like the concerts list idea...compiling the list was a fun way to remember what I've seen this year. Also reminds me of how many shows I had to say, "No" to.
Broken Bells – First Ave
Drive-By Truckers & Blitzen Trapper – First Ave
Lydia Loveless – 7th Street Entry
Queens of the Stone Age – Roy Wilkins Auditorium
The Jayhawks – First Ave
Pearl Jam – Xcel Energy Center
Lydia Loveless – Turf Club
Sturgill Simpson – Fine Line
This year, I saw Arcade Fire (with Dan Deacon and Kid Koala as openers). I think that's it.
Definitely the quietest year for concerts since I started going seventeen or so years ago.
The only concert I saw was EMA in some dive bar in Albuquerque. It was weird to contrast that show (with about 20-30 people in attendance) with her appearance on Letterman about a month later.

Dude, December 27 was not a Friday.
/eagerly awaits disqualification of DG's list
No, that's acceptable. Really, FMD is open for the full weekend. Sundown on Sunday might be pushing it though.
