VENEZUELAN LEAGUE
Each team plays sixteen games in the round-robin playoff.
Anzoategui, 6-2
Magallanes, 4-3
Zulia, 3-4
La Guaira, 3-4
Aragua, 2-5
MEXICAN LEAGUE
The first round is complete.
Jalisco swept Mazatlan 4-0
Culican defeated Los Mochis 4-2
Mexicali defeated Obregon 4-3
The second round is underway.
Jalisco defeated Obregon 6-1 in the first game of the series.
Culiacan defeated Mexicali 8-7 in the first game of the series.
The second-round series are best-of-seven. Obregon is in the second round despite losing in the first round because they did the best of any of the losing teams.
DOMINICAN LEAGUE
Each team plays eighteen games in the round-robin playoff.
Cibao, 10-3
Oriente, 7-6
Aguilas, 5-8
Este, 4-9
PUERTO RICAN LEAGUE
Each team plays twelve games in the round-robin playoff.
Santurce, 5-2
Mayaguez, 4-3
Carolina, 3-4
Caguas, 2-5
The top two teams will play each other in a championship series.
I kind of wish MLB did a round-robin playoff to determine the two teams for the World Series.
I think a round-robin playoff would be awesome. I don't suppose it'll ever happen, though.
