Fine pitching for Rochester in a split. Tyler Duffey and Kohl Stewart were okay, but nothing special in losses. Trey Vavra and Mat Batts lead Cedar Rapids to a big win.

Batting star: Reynaldo Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with a double.
Pitching star: Alex Meyer struck out eleven in six shutout innings, giving up two hits and three walks.
Opposition stars: Jason Martinson was 1-for-3 with a home run. Michael Taylor was 2-for-2 with a walk. A. J. Cole pitched six shutout innings, allowing five hits and no walks with three strikeouts.
The game: The Red Wings only once got a man to second base: the Rodriguez double with one out in the second. The Chiefs three times got a man to second in the first six innings, but never advanced him to third. Martinson hit a home run on the first pitch thrown by A. J. Achter in the seventh inning to end the game.

Opposition stars: Michael Taylor was 1-for-2 with a walk. Mitch Lively pitched two perfect innings with one strikeout.
The game: Both Red Wings runs scored in the third. Bernier doubled and scored on a Diaz single. Eddie Rosario singled home the second run later in the inning. The only time the Chiefs got a man as far as third base was the third inning, when Taylor walked, stole second, and went to third on a balk.
Of note: Aaron Hicks was 1-for-2 with a walk. Rosario was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Brock Peterson was 0-for-3.
MISSISSIPPI 4, CHATTANOOGA 1 IN MISSISSIPPI

Pitching star: Nick Burdi pitched a scoreless inning despite allowing two hits and a walk. He struck out one.
Opposition stars: Daniel Castro was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs. Chris O'Dowd was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs. Tyrell Jenkins pitched 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and four walks with four strikeouts.
The game: The Braves did not have a big inning, but they scored a single run in each of innings four through seven. The lone Lookout run came in the seventh when Mike Gonzales reached on a strikeout-plus-wild pitch, went to third on Paulino's double, and scored on another wild pitch.

The game: Rowan Wick singled in a run in the first, the Cardinals added a second run in the third, and had four singles for two more runs in the seventh. The Miracle left the bases loaded in the second and ninth and stranded eleven runners in the game.
