ROCHESTER 3, PAWTUCKET 2 IN PAWTUCKET
Batting stars: Eric Farris was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run. Danny Ortiz was 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Eric Fryer was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run.
Pitching stars: Tyler Duffey pitched seven innings, giving up two unearned runs on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts. A. J. Achter pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout.
Opposition stars: Jackie Bradley, Jr. was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Zeke Spruill pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits and no walks with two strikeouts.
The game: A walk, two errors, and a single plated a pair of runs for the Red Sox in the fourth and put them ahead 2-1. The Red Wings tied it in the sixth and in the seventh, doubles by Farris and Danny Santana made it 3-2. The Red Sox put men on first and third with one out in the eighth but their last five batters were retired.
Of note: Santana was 1-for-5 with a double and a run. James Beresford was 1-for-4 with a run. Oswaldo Arcia was 0-for-4.

FORT MYERS 10, PALM BEACH 3 IN FORT MYERS
Batting stars: Marcus Knecht was 3-for-5 with three doubles, scoring three times and driving in three. Engelb Vielma was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Logan Wade was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.
Pitching stars: Mat Batts struck out eight in seven innings, giving up one run on four hits and a walk. Brian Gilbert pitched a perfect inning.
Opposition stars: Luke Voit was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs. Jake Gronsky was 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Derek Gibson was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
The game: Knecht hit a two-run double in a four-run first that put the Kernels up 4-0. It was 7-0 after three and 10-1 after four. Batts retired nine men in a row and ten of the last eleven he faced.
Of note: Zach Granite was 2-for-6 with a run and an RBI. Mitch Garver was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in one. Bryan Haar was 4-for-5.

Batting star: Travis Blankenhorn was 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk.
Pitching stars: Jose Martinez struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk. Miguel Gonzalez struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk. Dallas Gallant struck out two in a perfect inning.
Opposition stars: Daniel Fajardo was 3-for-4 with a run. Ariel Miranda struck out six in three shutout innings, allowing one hit. Cristian Alvarado pitched four shutout innings, allowing one hit with three strikeouts.
The game: Jaylen Ferguson doubled in a run in the second and Ramon Ramirez singled one home in the fourth. The Twins got a man to third in the third and fifth, but those were the only innings in which they got a man on base.
Of note: Jorge Andrade was 0-for-4. Jermaine Palacios was 0-for-4. Lewin Diaz was 0-for-2. Amaurys Minier was 0-for-2.
DSL TWINS 6, DSL GIANTS 5 AT TWINS
Batting stars: Gabriel A. Ynfante was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and driving in two. Emmanuel Morel was 0-for-3 with two walks, scoring once and driving in two. Jean Carlos Arias was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Pitching star: Danny Feliz pitched four shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks with three strikeouts.
Opposition stars: Manuel Geraldo was 2-for-2 with a triple and a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Robert Andunez was 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs. Prebito Reyes struck out five in five innings, allowing one run on two hits and three walks.
The game: Juan Rodriguez delivered a two-out two-run single in the second to put the Giants ahead 3-1. Geraldo tripled and scored in the top of the seventh to make it 4-1, but in the bottom of the seventh Ynfante hit a two-run double and later scored on a ground out to tie the game 4-4. Geraldo singled in a run in the top of the ninth to put the Giants up 5-4, but the Twins came back in the bottom of the ninth. A single, a hit batsman, and an error loaded the bases, a walk tied the score, and Edwin Franco singled to bring home the winning run.
Of note: Jorge Parra was 0-for-4. Antonio Tovar was 1-for-4 with a double and a run. Huascar Ynoa pitched two innings, giving up three runs on two hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
