Is that a glockenspiel that includes sharps/flats? Love it.
Isn't that a standard-model kids' "xylophone"?
I'd say the one in "Call Me Maybe" is more the standard-model one for kids.
I'd originally typed xylophone, by the way, but my not-at-all nerdlike instincts suddenly kicked in and I felt compelled to look up the term. While those instruments for kids are commonly known as xylophones, a true xylophone has wooden bars. (Xylo comes from the Greek ξύλο for wood.) A glockenspiel has metal bars. (My friends at the OED tell me that it comes from the German an literally means bell-play.)
Fallon needs bottom billing on these in the future.
Heh, actually, I wondered about that.
Unlike YT's title, obviously Adele came first.
I would certainly rate The Roots' contribution 2nd, but in the end, I felt it followed the form of "So and So & The [XX]s", so I listed it as such.
