I didn't try to game the COC image this time. It just so happened to put a picture of Spooky in there for me.
ha, i just assumed at first.
This one was a coincidence?! That's awesome.
I watched Newsies so many times growing up (I think I only watched The Princess Bride more) that I'm spotting every single time a line in the musical has been changed.
That's sad to hear. And now things get interesting.
So very interesting.
Bummer, while I frequently disagreed with him (except on criminal law for the most part), he was a great, lucid thinker. As I mentioned when we chatted about the SCOTUSCare case, his dissents last year were not as polished as before.
No more clever, thoughtful, sarcastic, caustic, jiggery-pokerified opinions makes me sad.

we shall see....
During my final year of law school, Philosofette and I took advantage of Restaurant Week, and went to a quite nice restaurant. As we were sitting there, Justice Scalia walked in. I was this --><-- close to having the bar send him a drink from our table, as a thanks for his most entertaining dissents. My absolute fear of both him and the prices stopped me. But just barely. Another of my notable regrets, I guess.

You may have regretted ordering that drink more than you regret having not.
I wonder if we get the coaching version of Dubnyk now.
I thought the Wild brass would keep Yeo on board for the rest of the year to tank for a better draft slot.
I think I agree with those that have posited that Fletcher is the problem more than Yeo.
It's hard for me to believe that somehow Yeo "lost the room" after showing pretty convincingly in the last two years that he can motivate a team to play out of their minds for quite a while. Also, I like Yeo. I hope he gets another shot.
I am not savvy enough in hockey to know whether to know if its a coach's or GM's fault. This year's wild team probably falls in the 'both' category. Yeo continued to play the likes of Pominville on top lines and top prospects have stalled and regressed this year. But the GM handed out terrible contracts that has hamstrung the team in making moves. couple that with a clearly still injured Parise (he is soooooo slow right now, but still gives 110% effort) and the result is a very frustrating season.
all your dunks belong to Zach LaVine
And skills to KAT.
Just watched the videos for those. The reaction by the rest of the bigs when he made that three was great.
Also, my favorite dunk from the highlight video was Andre Drummond's dunk off of Steve Nash.

Justice Antonin Scalia, Dead at 79
Whoa!
Did not see that coming.
Wonder if that's going to come up tonight...
Hard to avoid.

A fair point.
He was a funny kind person. He'll be missed.
Yeo (unsurprisingly) out as Wild coach.
