OK, let's have people sign up for another 5-8 week turn at FMD duties below. Say something like, "I'll do _ weeks!" and I'll put it all together. If there's a period that doesn't work for you mention it.
Or I can go back to writing nothing interesting here for months on end.

Psst- the sidebar names are accurate
Too much work.
How does the 5-8 week stint differ from the guest week gigs?
So, I'm going to run with Pepper's suggestion -- some of my favorite spoken word tracks that come to mind:
Rick Wakeman's take on Gray's Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard
J. Geils Band "No Anchovies Please"
Planet X "King of the Universe" (hilariously overacted by Dick Smothers Jr)
Steve Hackett "Darktown"
Steve Hackett "In Memoriam"
King Crimson "Indiscipline"
Roger Eno "Bellringing"
Guest weeks are for the daily videos - this is volunteering to helm the weekly FMD posts.
I didn't mean the FMD leads to be "guest weeks". I meant them to crowdsource something that had lost its flavor for me, on a permanent basis.
I do my Random 10 first thing once in the office Friday mornings, so I'll pick up slack like others do when there's no Cup of Coffee. But it's not my "column" anymore.
I'm not even opposed to someone taking it over completely. But the mood here liked the rotational basis.
I'll do _ weeks!

*Off his self-produced, self-titled debut. First heard this song during a live performance at Karl’s Coffee in Morris, 1999. Bought the disc directly from the man. It was a “wow, college is cool!” first for me.
Must be a first - no bird calls!
'Twasn't mine.
Oh, maybe you got that.
When I first viewed it, it looked like me saying it.
Kanye's "Life of Pablo" is finally available on Spotify and other non-Tidal services.
Twice through and...eh?
He peaked with 808s And Heartbreak, and he's in desperate need of an editor (and a social media manager...), so I always have to adjust expectations when I listen to his albums.
I guess I can do 4 weeks, any time from mid-July onwards.
Today I am probably going to be listening to albums all day since there are SIX (holy crap) new releases today that I'm super juiced about. Two I'll make special note of: Next Thing by Frankie Cosmos and Psychopomp by Japanese Breakfast. Frankie Cosmos is playing at the Entry on April 25th, with Eskimeaux and Yowler who are both also awesome. J and I are going to that show, so if you're interested hit me up. And it was just announced today that Japanese Breakfast is going on tour with Mitski. Psychopomp is a great record and well worth checking out ahead of the show. It's super shoegaze-y if you're into that sort of thing.
Perhaps apropos to the thread, I am very much looking forward to seeing Don Cheadle's new biopic on Miles Davis.
