Well when you've got that many bullpen spots you can let a guy rest without overworking anyone else!
Since I've given so much criticism to Twins management, I feel obligated to say that I agree with this move.
Much as it pains me to say it, I would say Hughes is pretty clearly the odd man out right now. Can't disagree with this*.
*so long as the demoted player is a reliever. I mean, it would seem obvious, but......
Man, we took the kids to Devils Lake state Park yesterday to swim and I think I'm still exhausted from it. I slept until damn near ten and just can't get myself motivated to do anything. Good thing there's tons of baseball and basketball on today.
I've been to that state park twice. Enjoyed it both times. A hike around the rim or whatever provided fantastic eye-level views of Turkey Vultures, maybe just 10 yards from where we were hiking.
It is a beautiful area (less so when there's 1000 Illinois plates crammed around the beach) and I always feel life we should go more often than we do.
hey, go FIB yourself, buddy.
It's not my fault you all have such issues with driving on 90 on your way home from the Dells.
The Pale Hosers got 2 hit by the Mets and now have a 7 game losing streak.
Psh. The Twins have longer losing streaks than that.
When I turned on this game, OKC was up by six. Now Golden State is up by 13. Watching Curry drain them (where the first six of the deficit or so got shaved) really is something.
Getting Adams switched onto him seemingly every time was masterful.
Steph Curry is a monster. Crazy.
That was wonderful, although I'm not exactly sure what the hell the thunder were trying to do there.
Steph Curry amirite?
He shoots three pointers like me when I was 11, all arms, no follow through. Only he drains them.
Well, that was fun.
I wouldn't be upset to see love get a ring, but I'll be rooting for the championship that let's the Warriors be the best team ever.
Thank God you don't have real humidity then
Preach it, brother.
apparent DL is not an option for a fatigued shoulder
