Today is the day for random jerseys/shirseys (and hanging with Magoo):
Lou Brock
Shin-Soo Choo
Slowey
Ruben Sierra (as a Yankee)
I saw a Taylor Rogers shirsey near Target Field walking to my car today. Might have been family members, the kid had a Twins hat with TR monogrammed on the side too.
A-baaaaaad
I just dropped a foul ball
In the bottom of the ninth? There was only one foul ball in that half inning but hard to see who got the ball after it bounced.
Top, it was off McCann's bat.
That part is barely in the DVR buffer. I counted four foul balls and they only showed the third on TV and there was no one nearby to touch it.
I checked the FoxSports app this morning, but it didn't look like they had archived games.
Arcia DFA'ed to make room for Santana.
Phil Mackey is pissed about this. I can't bring myself to care, Santana is pretty bad but can play passable D a few places.
Seems pretty clear that management has had no faith in Arcia for a while, so he was going to be a bench bat and not much else. He's got plenty of power so it won't surprise me if he catches on somewhere and puts some decent seasons together.
I can't work up being that upset. The Twins jerked him around and maybe they'd have something if he was platooned but, eh. Not every promising player turns out well.
Didn't have to platoon Ortiz; Arcia will only be ½ as good.
The Twins have decided to stick with an 8-man bullpen and so to make room for Santana, Arcia “was the odd man out today,” Molitor said.
The sheer stupidity of this for a team in last place is utterly mind boggling for so many reasons. I'm done. Move over fellas. I'm on board. It's time to clean house. Blow this crap hole up. And I mean everybody (management wise) must go. I might be OK with Mientkiewicz being the manager, but the front office must be cleared out. Loyalty is one thing, but this place has gotten old and stale.
Welcome brother SoCal. We'll squeeze together and make room. Here's a Souhan article, feel free to trash it. Oh and Hrbek will be bringing the fried mozzarrela sticks soon. We've assigned you to the Ricky Nolasco subcommittee. Hope you don't mind, but you're kind of late in joining up.
Good lord. We've broken socal.
We've welcomed him into the club. The Twins have broken him.
Whoops! My bad fellas ... Was gonna write this up at work, but got called away and didn't remember to drop anything. Thanks for covering Rhu.
I phoned it in; no sweat.
That's 16 straight games the Twins have allowed 4+ runs.
Nunez with a laser shot line drive RBI!
