Eddie Nunez hit a double AND kept his helmet on.
crazy
holy heck this is clown baseball
I would feel sorry for the Rangers pitcher if the Twins had a better record.
MAX POWER!!
CROOKED NUMBERS!
Kepler'd!
Byron Buxton triples are extra sexy
The LFer didnt even move on that Sano home run HAHAHA.
Dudes, poor efficiency. Gotta smooth those runs over more games.
With our team, we may need everyone of those runs and more before this one's over.
11-2 in the fourth inning? I don't know what's going on here, but I'm for it.
Kepler puts another ball into orbit for seven RBI today.
Wow. He must have hit it a long ways to drive in 7 runs!
German efficiency.
Probably cheated on the test.
Oof!
I took a nap and the Twins scored 6 more runs.
KKeepplleerr' dd!!
So with Kepler off to a good start to his career, we should theoretically never have to see santana in the outfield again right?
Terry Ryan will trade him for a sinkerball throwing middle reliever.
I don't know. He might go 0-for-4 tomorrow and get sent back to Rochester for more seasoning.
Ugh, I see far too much possible truth to both your comment and dw's.
Kepler is as quiet as Mauer; we'll be hearing about his lack of fire any day now.
Souhan's already booting up his laptop.
I want Tonkin to go the last three innings and get a save, just so I can hear people complain about how it's not right to get a save in a 17-4 game.
Paul Molitor was not on board with my plan.
He's trying not to dump on Gardy's legacy.
I long for the good ol' days when the Twins had a groundskeeper in the pen
So, can Jepsen hold a twelve-run lead?
Yes!
Might be all he's good for, I guess
What's the over/under on how many runs Jepsen gives up in the 9th?
When was the last time Jepsen had a 1-2-3 inning!
Holy crap batman.
The Twins signed Sano, Polanco and Kepler all in the same offseason. All three have a .800+ OPS for the Twins this seaoson (Polanco obviously in limited PAs and not with the team at this time). This was definitely the highlight of the Smith era.
17 runs on 13 hits. Thats pretty good!
First time the Twins have had more runs than hits since getting 4 runs on 2 hits on Sept. 25.
there must have been something in the air yesterday. The Saturday night game featured the Halos sending 14 men to the plate and scoring 11 runs in the 7th against the BoSox, finishing with 21 runs on 22 hits. I was cooking dinner through much of the 7th, so I didn't really realize how long it went on.
