I'm pretty sure that's one of the reactions that Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty were hoping for.
They wanted to pour sheep's blood on the audience, but ENT were vegans, so they did they gun thing.
They did place a dead sheep at the entrance to an after-party.
They also immediately deleted their entire catalog, and have remained retired (except for 23 minutes).
Two and a half years later, they burned £1M (and filmed it), allegedly most of what they had left of their KLF profits.
Wow. If I could have rated this one with question marks rather than stars, it would've scored pretty high.
Cookie Monster is an ancient of mu mu??
So I listened to The White Room last night, front-to-back, with the Tammy Wynette collaboration at the end.
There's quite an inconsistency in their lyrics:
"Last Train to Trancentral": "We’ve been waiting for years, and now it’s here. Last train to Trancentral."
"No More Tears": "The Mu Mu is here to stay."
"Justified and Ancient (Stand by the JAMs)": "The last train left an hour ago, they were singing 'all aboard, all bound for Mu Mu Land.'" (Sung by Tammy after their departure?)
Maybe "No More Tears" is sung from Mu Mu Land (the Eternal Trancentral)?
Just noticed that 3AM and JAM are very similar in the correct font. Could that be the significance of the time?
Taking a bit of a departure from the studio version...
