ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE
SALT RIVER 3, SURPRISE 2 IN SALT RIVER
Kade Scivicque's RBI single in the sixth broke a 2-2 tie. Mitch Garver was 1-for-4 for Surprise. Mason Melotakis pitched one inning, giving up one run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout for Surprise.
VENEZUELAN LEAGUE
ZULIA 4, CARACAS 3 IN CARACAS
Zulia scored two in the first and led all the way. Reynaldo Rodriguez was 2-for-4 for Zulia. Wilfredo Tovar was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run for Caracas.
MARGARITA 5, ARAGUA 3 IN ARAGUA
Gabriel Noriega's RBI double broke a 3-3 tie in the ninth and Margarita added an insurance run on a sacrifice fly. Ryan O'Rourke pitched two-thirds of an inning for Margarita, giving up one run on one hit.
MAGALLANES 3, LARA 2 IN MAGALLANES
Magallanes scored single runs in the third, sixth, and seventh to take a 3-0 lead, then held on as Lara scored two in the ninth and had the tying run thrown out at the plate to end the game. Luis Arraez was 0-for-4 for Magallanes.
ANZOATEGUI 5, LA GUAIRA 4 IN ANZOATEGUI
RBI singles by Rossmel Perez and Luis Domoromo in the seventh inning turned a 4-3 deficit into a 5-4 lead. Heiker Meneses was 2-for-4 with a triple and a double, driving in three for La Guaira. Niko Goodrum was 1-for-5 for Anzoategui.
DOMINICAN LEAGUE
GIGANTES 4, AGUILAS 0 AT GIGANTES
A three-run fifth put the Gigantes up 4-0. Carlos Paulino was 0-for-3 for the Gigantes.
LICEY 4, ESCOGIDO 3 IN LICEY
A bases-loaded walk to Rymer Liriano brought home the go-ahead run in the seventh.
ORIENTE 5, ESTE 3 IN ESTE
It was 1-0 Este after seven, but in the eighth Junior Lake hit a two-run double and Audy Ciriaco hit a three-run homer to give Oriente the win.
MEXICAN LEAGUE
CULIACAN 6, JALISCO 2 IN JALISCO
Four singles and a sacrifice fly produced three first-inning runs for Culiacan and they were in control all the way.
LOS MOCHIS 2, MAZATLAN 1 IN LOS MOCHIS
The go-ahead run scored on an error in the eighth.
NAVOJOA 5, MEXICALI 1 IN NAVOJOA
Yosmany Guerra's two-run single gave Navojoa a 4-1 lead in the fourth and they were never in trouble after that.
HERMOSILLO 6, OBREGON 3 IN HERMOSILLO
With Hermosillo trailing 3-2, Roberto Ramos hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the seventh to put Hermosillo ahead to stay.
