He lives!
I'm so old I remember when the original site was hacked.
I didn't disclose this then, but I can now: it was Vladimir Putin who did it.
Someone owes me money.
It's nice you two get along.
So sad!
PLEDGE DRIVE UPDATE:
$465.25 / $500.00
So close.
I haven't even sent mine yet. We've got this in the bag.
$3.47 isn't enough to push us over the edge Nibs.
It isn't?
Crap. I was holding the graph upside down.
Ok, so I need to make my donation but when I go to PayPal I can't find the entity I'm supposed to pay. How do I go about doing that?
I don't recall the steps exactly, but I ended up putting in an e-mail address when sending to friends and family?
I believe this is correct. Email is here.
I just did mine without looking at this. I could have done a Kirby level to get us within a few quarters.
Yes! Now go prove it wrong, you wienie scientists!
NASA's Physics-Defying EM Drive Passes Peer Review
I've been keeping my eye on this one. Ever since reading The Structure of Scientific Revolutions I've rooted for paradigm-busting discoveries.
An oral history of the Double Dare obstacle course
Awesome
That was a good read.
I miss that show
Back in the day, I remember my mom would take my brothers, some friends, and me to lunch every Wednesday during summer break to McDonald's. We would bring the food to the park across the street, and after eating would create a different "Double Dare obstacle course" for each week and time ourselves to see who was fastest.
Thanks for sharing.
I just bought a new pair of new balance sneakers only to find out they're now the shoes of white people because of a quote taken out of context. Blarf.
...if the shoe fits.
/sigh
Sorry, Cinderfella, but it was too easy a quip to avoid.
I don't even know what the controversy, out-of-context quote is.
Plus, I'm only about 99.3% confident of your race, so out of the 0.5% certainty I usually require of myself.
I am from minnesota...
(also, no harm done as I know that the quip was a quip)
Already baked in to that 99.3%
But your connecting it to answer the question and I'm way past 99.95%
Less than 1-in-2000 chance that either a) we're misunderstanding each other and that I'm also mis-estimating your race or b) you're actually a different race and you don't know it.
Wait, are we supposed to be boycotting, supporting, or boycottsupporting?
It depends. What time is it?
FTLT, if you're around I just want to make sure you know that this exists.
