I've yet to meet him, but I've seen his handiwork.

Not sure what this is referencing, but my dad was a Florida man last week. Has a friend with a condo in Panama City Beach. He said they passed an ordinance that does not allow liquor sales on beaches in March, which pretty much means nobody comes anymore for spring break. Said the beaches were dead.
Pretty sure your dad was not a "Florida Man", if you google the term.
Huh, I hadn't heard that. I may just head to panama beach next march...
quality, not quantity. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it. Because, what choice do I have?
On a related note, while chatting after the fish fry last Friday, an acquaintance put forward the opinion that there are a lot more seniors than you might think who, unlike in the past, are living together instead of getting married primarily because of healthcare costs.
Maybe they heard that married people aren't getting as much action as singles.
Oh, well played.
That note was more related that I intended...

The Eagle has landed, and is delicious
Awesome, I'm glad it made it there safely and deliciously.
How windy is it? Windy enough to blow open the storm door (which probably wasn't fully latched), slam it into the railing, and shatter the glass. The good news is that it's safety glass. The front steps are all swept off and I taped around the frame of the door where a bunch of jagged glass was sticking out. (Mr. NaCl and the jalapeño weren't home, so the peperoncino got lots of video time while I tended to this!)
I'm saving cleaning the glass out of the flower bed and ordering a new glass window (or complete door) for another day . . .
Windy enough for us to lose power. Impromptu out-to-eat night it is! Thankfully Xcel restored electricity before we returned.
Glad it was restored quickly! Power outages and young kids are not always the best combination . . .
I really want to know what the gusts got up to today.

Windy enough for us to need a new roof.
