sorry spooky, too late
Polanco with the textbook bunt. I hope others were taking notes.
GIMENEZ!
Twins win expectancy moves up to ~51% now.
Every inning the Twins score 5 runs, win expectancy goes up 1%. Every inning Berrios keeps the bullpen out of the game, +10%
Holy Gimenez!
Twins find a way to make me disappointed with a 5-0 lead.
HOLY GIMENEZ!!
you're going to have to add bolding for the next one
I think Berrios has exactly 1 strikeout in each inning. Got to like that consistency.
Sounds like Plouffe is going to be DFA-ed by the A's.
Just saw that. It's probably appropriate, but it still makes me sad. I hope he catches on with somebody. Not the Twins, but somebody.
The "My Pillow" guy sounds a lot like Jack Morris to me.
"Buy My Pillow, or get off my lawn!"
Take a well earned shower, Jose.
Seems like a decent situation to have your starter go eight good innings.
I guess its time to hold onto my butt.
Berrios is now 6-1 with a 2.74 ERA. His first start was just May 13, so he's had a decision in every start. Since Berrios was called up, Santana is 2-3 with a 3.95 ERA. Even if you include Santana's shutout of Cleveland the day before Berrios' first start, Santana is 3-3 with a 3.38 ERA.
I think he might stick around for a while.
After Buxton slammed into the wall trying to make a spectacular catch:
Eddie Rosario came over to check on him - and also gave him a shot.
"He was like, 'next time, you better catch it,' " Buxton said. "I knew it was coming. That's what made it funny.
