Thanks to the Padre's updates, I've been seeing the name Felix Jorge for awhile. Hopefully we'll continue seeing it in the gamelogs now.

Sano's slash line against the Royals this year: .395/.469/.837/1.307
woah.
I love his big ol' chain popping out of his uniform as he trots around the bases.
Today, I am exactly as old as William Shatner was the day the first episode of Star Trek aired: 12,954 days.
h/t Chris Jaffe
Today I'm exactly as old as Ron Hassey was the day he caught Dennis Martinez's prefect game (2nd of 2 he caught.
I'm at the family cabin, which is the most calming place in my world. Good stuff.
I continued my lifelong streak of not striking a deer with my car, but only just barely. You'd think years of living near roads would teach them something, but whatever.
I'm still not interested in living in the post ricky world.
That's a funny way of spelling Paul Millsap.
hey, when you can get a backup 4 for only $14 million per, you gotta do it.
I'm stoked about Butler, but overall pretty confused about the plan here. They still need outside shooting/wing depth and a starting-level PF... all with no cap space.
Starting-level PF? You mean like KAT?
I guess ... I was under the impression that KAT was still considered a Center, but don't watch enough to know how he's been deployed under the 'new' regime. Happy to defer to your impression of what they need.
I think they consider Gorgui Deng their center.
Are you looking to replace him in the starting lineup? I guess I could see that, although he seems like a pretty serviceable 5.
sorry, didn't mean to come off quite so dickish.
No worries! Just trying to understand why all the big men (be they a '4' or '5' which is apparently much more interchangeable - and has less to do with being a 7-footer than skill set - than I realized) and so little depth behind Wiggins and Butler.
This story about a Muslim doctor in Dawson MN is worth your time.
Well I needed a good cry I guess
On the bright side, it does show that exposure to others can open people's eyes.
The bright side makes me cry sometimes too
Truth.
On the Grill tonight: pork chops and corn on the cob, with Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum) on the side.
I grilled pork chops and corn on the cob as well, but went the easy route of a bagged salad from the grocery store. Not nearly as exciting a side.
This is the other reason I have trouble losing weight - I like to cook things and then eat them.
it's a savage cycle, to be sure.
Sano couldn't keep Jose Ramirez from overtaking him in the All-Star voting but will still be a reserve plus will hit in the HR derby. Ervin Santana also named to the All-Star team.
