SALT RIVER 2, SURPRISE 1 IN SALT RIVER
Wade's homer came with two out in the fourth to give Surprise a 1-0 lead. It looked like it might hold up, but in the ninth, with a man on first and two out, Salt River got three consecutive singles to win the game. Michael Perez (Arizona) drove in the tying run and Jack Reinheimer (Arizona) drove in the winning run. Tyler Davis (Texas) pitched four shutout innings, giving up no runs and no hits with no strikeouts for Surprise. For Salt River, Ryan Atkinson (Arizona) pitched four innings, giving up one run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
PEORIA 4, GLENDALE 3 IN GLENDALE
Glendale scored two in the fifth to go ahead 3-1, but Peoria came back with three in the sixth to take the lead. Chad De La Guerra (Boston) hit a two-run double to drive in the tying and winning runs. Glendale did not get a hit after the fifth inning. Josh Naylor (San Diego) was 2-for-4 with a double. For Glendale, Matt Beaty (Dodgers) was 3-for-4 with a double and Taylor Hearn (Pittsburgh) pitched three innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk while striking out one.
MESA 5, SCOTTSDALE 2 IN MESA
A. J. Simcox hit a two-run homer in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie. Kyle McGowin struck out five in four innings, giving up one run on four hits and no walks. For Scottsdale, Steven Duggar was 2-for-4 with a home run.
VENEZUELAN LEAGUE

ZULIA 9, LARA 7 IN LARA
Zulia led 8-1 after seven, but Lara scored five in the eighth to make the final score look good. Alex Romero was 3-for-4 with two doubles. Jairo Perez was 3-for-5 with a double. Elieser Hernandez pitched five innings, giving up one run on three hits and no walks while striking out four. Juniel Querecuto was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs for Lara.

Twins: Carlos Paulino (Gigantes) was 1-for-4 with a double.
ESTRELLAS 1, ESCOGIDO 0 IN ESCOGIDO
Hector Gomez' home run in the sixth provided the game's only run. Radhames Liz struck out six in six shutout innings, giving up four hits and a walk. For Escogido, Justin Haley pitched five shutout innings, giving up seven hits and no walks while striking out four.
TOROS 6, AGUILAS 3 AT TOROS
The Aguilas led 3-0 early, but the Toros scored one in the fourth, one in the sixth, and four in the eighth to win. Jorge Mateo and Raudy Read each hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning. Mateo was 2-for-3 with two home runs (his second and third) and a walk, scoring three times and driving in three. For the Aguilas, Wilmer Difo was 2-for-5 with a home run and Francisley Bueno pitched five innings, giving up one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four.
GIGANTES 9, LICEY 1 AT GIGANTES
A seven-run fourth gave the Gigantes an 8-0 lead and the game was pretty much over at that point. Eloy Jimenez was 2-for-4 with a home run, his fourth, and three RBIs. Jose De Paula pitched three shutout innings, striking out two. Michael De La Cruz hit a home run for Licey's only run.
