VENEZUELAN LEAGUE
Twins: Anderson Munoz (Zulia) pitched a third of an inning, giving up an unearned run and walking one.
MAGALLANES 8, MARGARITA 7 IN MAGALLANES
Trailing 7-4 through eight, Magallanes scored four in the ninth to win the game. Mario Lisson's RBI double brought home the winning run. For Margarita, Mauricio Ramos was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk. Cade Gotta was 1-for-2 with three walks.
ARAGUA 5, CARACAS 2 IN ARAGUA
Aragua scored four in the sixth to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 5-2 lead and eventual win. Rey Navarro's two-run double brought home the tying and go-ahead runs. Wil Ledezma pitched 5.1 innings, giving up two runs on one hit and four walks while striking out four. Caracas had only two hits. Efrain Nieves pitched 4.1 innings, giving up one run on three hits and two walks while striking out two.
LA GUAIRA 8, LARA 6 IN LA GUAIRA
Lara scored three in the top of the eighth to tie it 6-6, but La Guaira scored two in the bottom of the eighth to win the game. Arvicent Perez was 3-for-4 to lead La Guaira. Elvis Escobar was 4-for-4 for Lara.
ANZOATEGUI 8, ZULIA 7 IN ANZOATEGUI
Anzoategui led 5-1, 6-4, and 7-6, but needed a run in the bottom of the ninth to pull out the win. Tomas Telis hit a walkoff home run leading off the bottom of the ninth. Telis was 2-for-5 with two home runs (his second and third) and scored three times. Rene Reyes hit a three-run homer, his third. For Zulia, David Vidal was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, his eighth. Hector Gimenez was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer (his fifth) and a walk.
MEXICAN LEAGUE
Twins: None.
LOS MOCHIS 7, HERMOSILLO 2 IN HERMOSILLO
Leading 2-1, Los Mochis scored three in the seventh to put the game out of reach. Noel Cuevas was 3-for-5 with a triple. Michael Wing was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Luis Niebla struck out five in five shutout innings, giving up four hits and three walks.
MAZATLAN 4, JALISCO 3 IN MAZATLAN
Mazatlan trailed 3-1 after seven but scored three in the eighth to win. Carlos Munoz' two-run double brought home the tying and go-ahead runs. Dustin Crenshaw pitched six innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits while striking out four. For Jalisco, Anthony Alford was 3-for-5 with a double and Manny Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with a home run, his seventh. Kyle Lloyd pitched six innings, giving up an unearned run on five hits while striking out three.
MEXICALI 7, OBREGON 1 IN MEXICALI
Mexicali scored four in the fifth to take a 4-1 lead, which was more than enough runs. Chris Roberson was 2-for-5 with a home run (his fifth) and three RBIs. Justin DeFratus pitched five innings, giving up one run on five hits and two walks while striking out two.
NAVOJOA 4, CULIACAN 3 IN NAVOJOA
Paul Leon homered leading off the fifth to break a 3-3 tie. It was Leon's second homer of the season. Raul Carrillo pitched six innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out one. For Culiacan, Edgar Gonzalez pitched seven innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits while striking out three.
DOMINICAN LEAGUE
Twins: None.
LICEY 8, GIGANTES 0 IN LICEY
Leading 4-0, Licey scored four in the eighth to put the game away. Jair Jurrjens pitched six shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out two. The Gigantes had only two hits.
TOROS 7, ESTRELLAS 3 AT TOROS
The Toros scored two in the sixth to break a 3-3 tie, then added two more in the eighth. Sean Halton was 3-for-4 with a triple and a double, driving in four. Jeimer Candelario was 3-for-4 with a double and a walk. Jake Buchanan pitched four innings, giving up one run on three hits while striking out one.
AGUILAS 5, ESCOGIDO 1 AT AGUILAS
A three-run third put the Aguilas up 4-0 and in control of the game. Rey Fuentes was 3-for-4. Yunesky Maya struck out seven in six shutout innings, giving up two hits.

Twins: Aaron Whitefield (Brisbane) was 5-for-10 with a home run, a double, and a walk, scoring five times. Logan Wade (Brisbane) was 3-for-8 with a double and a walk.
BRISBANE 12, PERTH 5 IN PERTH (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)
Brisbane scored seven in the second to go ahead 8-0. Whitefield was 4-for-5 with a home run and a double, scoring three times. Mitch Nilsson was 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk, driving in three. Donald Lutz was 2-for-5 with a three-run homer, his second. Tim Atherton struck out seven in five innings, giving up two runs on three hits and five walks. For Perth, Ryan Brosseau was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, his second. Ryan Kitt hit a home run, his second.
BRISBANE 13, PERTH 3 IN PERTH (GAME 2)
Brisbane led 3-2 after seven when they came up with another seven-run inning to put the game away. Mitch Nilsson was 4-for-5 with a home run (his second) and two doubles, driving in five. Andrew Campbell was 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring three times. Travis Blackley struck out seven in five innings, giving up one run on four hits. For Perth, Tim Kennelly was 3-for-5 with a double.
SYDNEY 8, CANBERRA 2 IN SYDNEY
Sydney scored five in the sixth to take a 6-0 lead. Trent D'Antonio was 4-for-5 with a home run. Chih-Hsien Chiang was 2-for-5 with two home runs (his third and fourth) and three RBIs. Clayton Freimuth pitched 6.2 innings, giving up one run on two hits and five walks while striking out three. Boss Moanaroa hit a home run for Canberra.
ADELAIDE 6, MELBOURNE 2 IN ADELAIDE
Adelaide scored two in the fourth to take a 3-2 lead and led the rest of the way. Bas Nooij drove in the tying run with a double and Nathan VanDerLinden drove home the go-ahead run with a single. Rodrigo Ayarza was 2-for-4 with a home run (his second) and a double. Chris Powell pitched six innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out four.
