Twins:  Gregorio Petit (Caracas) was 0-for-2 with a walk.  Willians Astudillo (Anzoategui) was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

LARA 11, MAGALLANES 9 IN MAGALLANES (10 INNINGS)

Junior Querecuto hit a two-run homer in the eighth for Lara to tie it 9-9.  In the tenth, Rangel Ravelo hit a two-out two-run single to win it.  Querecuto was 4-for-6 with a home run and three RBIs.  Gustavo Molina was 3-for-5.  Ildemaro Vargas was 2-for-5 with a walk and three RBIs.  For Magallanes, Jesus Sucre was 4-for-5 with three RBIs.  Alberth Martinez was 3-for-5 with a double.  Ali Castillo was 3-for-6 with a double.  Dustin Martin was 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs.

Lara wins the series 4-0.

ANZOATEGUI 5, CARACAS 0 IN ANZOATEGUI

Anzoategui scored three in the fourth and two in the fifth.  Carlos Teller pitched 7.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and three walks and striking out six.

Anzoategui leads the series 3-1.

MEXICAN LEAGUE

Twins:  None.

JALISCO 3, NAVOJOA 0 IN JALISCO

Jalisco scored one in the third and two in the eighth.  William Oliver pitched seven shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out six.  For Navojoa, Hector Velazquez pitched five innings, giving up one run on five hits and striking out three.

Navojoa leads the series 3-2.

DOMINICAN LEAGUE

Twins:  None.

GIGANTES 8, ESCOGIDO 5 IN ESCOGIDO

Trailing 2-1, the Gigantes scored four in the sixth to go into the lead to stay.  Leury Garcia was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.  Hanser Alberto was 3-for-5.  For Escogido, Franchy Cordero was 3-for-5 with a triple and a double.  The teams combined to use eighteen pitchers.

LICEY 7, AGUILAS 3 AT AGUILAS

Licey scored three in the first and led all the way.  Anderson Hernandez was 4-for-4 with a double.  Juan Francisco was 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs.  Yermin Mercedes was 2-for-4 with a walk and a home run, his third of the post-season.  Alexis Candelario pitched four innings, giving up one run on four hits and two walks and striking out three.  For the Aguilas, Ronny Rodriguez was 2-for-5 with a double and a home run, his second of the post-season.
