Myles Jaye has his third consecutive strong game.  Omar Bencomo does almost as well.  A big day for Jordan Gore.  Rain was the winner in Fort Myers.

ROCHESTER 2, PAWTUCKET 1 IN ROCHESTER

Taylor Featherston hit a two-run triple in the fourth.  Mike Olt homered in the fifth.  That was the only hit Myles Jaye gave up in seven innings.

Featherston was 2-for-2 with a walk in addition to the triple.  Wynston Sawyer was 2-for-4 and is batting .429.  Ryan LaMarre was 0-for-4 and is batting .407.  Miguel Sano, on a rehab assignment, was 0-for-2 with two walks.  Jaye pitched seven innings, giving up one run on one hit and one walk and striking out two.  After a terrible start to the season, he has had three consecutive good outings.  Gabriel Moya pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two hits.  His ERA is 2.53.  Nick Anderson struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up a walk.  His ERA is 1.47.

BILOXI 3, CHATTANOOGA 2 IN BILOXI (10 INNINGS)

It was tied 1-1 after nine, bringing on the Manfred Rule.  Tanner English doubled home a run in the top of the tenth, but the Lookouts failed to score more despite having a man on third with one out.  In the bottom of the tenth, three consecutive singles and an error plated two runs for the Shuckers.

English was 2-for-4 with a double.  Zander Weil was 2-for-4 with a double and is batting .317.  Chris Paul was 2-for-4.  Nick Gordon was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .333.  Alex Perez was 0-for-4 and is batting .345.  Omar Bencomo pitched seven innings, giving up one run on five hits and no walks and striking out six.  His ERA is 2.21.  Cody Stashak struck out three in two perfect innings of relief.  His ERA is 2.25.

FORT MYERS AT ST. LUCIE

The game was suspended in the top of the third.  The Miracle scored two in the first and lead 2-0.

CEDAR RAPIDS 6, CLINTON 4 IN CLINTON

Leading 3-2, the Kernels put together a three-run rally in the eighth, getting five singles in the inning.  The Lumber Kings came back with two in the ninth but did not get the tying run on base.

Jordan Gore was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and is batting .329.  Akil Baddoo was 2-for-4 with a walk.  Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-5 and is batting .319.  Ben Rodriguez was 2-for-5.  Jose Miranda was 2-for-5.  Royce Lewis was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .310.  Bryan Sammons pitched 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks and striking out four.  His ERA is 2.91.  Jovani Moran pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out one.  His ERA is 2.41.
