To continue on the robot theme, after a few days of using the new Eufy vacuum (we named it "Relentless"), I have to say it's doing its job. We haven't put it on an official schedule yet, since it remains docked when the grand-dog is here, but I run it for about an hour when I get up in the morning and periodically will take it upstairs and run it in the evening. While it is certainly not intelligent in its cleaning patterns, it always returns to base with a goodly payload, and I have to say I'm not seeing as much stray dust on the floor that I was used to seeing. It does have a few navigation traps that it doesn't handle well, so I have to check up on it now and then, but it is working better than I thought. If it doesn't have any breakdowns, it looks like a pretty good $180 investment.
#OTD in 1905, Archibald 'Moonlight' Graham made his Major League debut against Brooklyn in the bottom of the 8th inning at Washington Park. A defensive replacement in RF, he would not have an at-bat in what was to be his only appearance in the big leagues. pic.twitter.com/LXmHvXyyzs
As I took over for a different team in the Half-Bakef Fantasy Baseball league, I wasn't the original namer of my team. It wasn't one I would have come up with on my own, but I've been plenty glad to keep it.
I imagine it doesn't make you like the name any less since you're destroying the league this year. I have never see one team claim first place in every offensive category before this season. Cut us some slack!
Can I trade you some pitching just to see if I can get to second place?
i'm open for some trades.
A league-wide collusion to chase down Philo? I'm in!
Who wants Ohtani? I have both his personalities!
I still think it's really stupid to split him up. He's the same player in my other league.
You know he has an alliance already and is just waiting for the opportune moment...
USA Today article title:
Per capita government spending: How much does your state spends on you?
Obviously not enough on grammar, whatever the amount is.
Interesting. Collusion on perishable commodity prices is pretty hard. I was a little unclear -- colluding on the purchase prices to farmers for hogs, or the sales prices to retailers/distributors? Or both?
I checked with a friend who works with local counsel on behalf of Plaintiffs. It's the latter.
For those waiting on season 3, there's a newish The Good Place podcast. Made by NBC and hosted by Marc Evan Jackson. They've done a few weeks so far and the plan is to get though all of the cast and creators. Pretty fun. A lot of spoilers if you aren't caught up though.
I think you mean Season 2. I'm definitely looking forward to Season 2. This would be good in the self-care department...
If it has spoilers, I think he is referring to people that are caught up and waiting on season 3.
My dad and I are in section 240. It's....pretty warm.
My dad is wearing his Punto shirt. Shame you can't count him, Will.
Yeah, I'm not sure if tomorrow's game is going to be better or worse...
Who starts a game at 4:05??
People who didn't want me to have to start driving at 1am,i guess
Taylor Motter placed on 7-day concussion DL. Willians Astudillo recalled. Mostly catcher. Can play a little at the corners.
Astudillo! He finally gets a chance
I was very surprised they let him stay in the game yesterday.
Astudillo....I love that Phil Collins song!
I just heard that song, weirdly enough, and had thought the same thing.
My brother was mugged at knifepoint last night. There’s a big story that sets all that up that involves the heaviest drinking he’s ever done followed by getting as lost as he’s ever been, and then hiding in a bush until his dad got him.
There’s nothing left to be done. He made it, he’s safe and it’s over. It just feels like there’s something I should be doing, but I can’t imagine what.
Tell him to seek some counseling. It’s been more than a year since some fool put a gun to my head for my shit. I’m still not exactly the same person I was before that dude decided to take my shit.
Sage advice. I’ll see him next weekend; I’ll ask him and, more importantly, his wife how he’s doing.

Spamtown's biggest name may not have been acting very kosher.
