PAWTUCKET 6, ROCHESTER 5 IN ROCHESTER
The Red Wings led 5-2 through eight, but gave up a four-spot in the ninth to lose it. Two-out two-run singles by Rusney Castillo and Tzu-Wei Lin brought home the runs.
LaMonte Wade was 2-for-4 with a triple. Kennys Vargas was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, his eleventh. Cameron Rupp was 1-for-4 with a home run, his third. Jordan Pacheco was 0-for-3 and is batting .333.
Stephen Gonsalves struck out six in six shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk.
CHATTANOOGA 6, BIRMINGHAM 2 IN BIRMINGHAM
The Lookouts scored four in the first and led all the way. Jaylin Davis hit a home run in the first inning.
Alex Perez was 5-for-5 with a double. Davis was 2-for-4 and the home run was his second. Brent Rooker was 2-for-4 with a double. That gives him 21, which is tied for second in the league.
Sean Poppen pitched six innings, giving up two runs on three hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Tyler Jay struck out two in two perfect innings. Paco Rodriguez struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk.

WISCONSIN 8, CEDAR RAPIDS 6 IN CEDAR RAPIDS
The Kernels led 2-0 through three, but fell behind 7-2 before coming back to make a game of it.
Akil Baddoo was 3-for-5 with two triples, scoring twice and driving in two. He is batting .400 (16-for-40) in his last nine games, raising his average from .215 to .244. Royce Lewis was 2-for-4 with a double and is batting .325. Jacob Pearson was 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs. Robby Rinn was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .333. Jared Akins was 0-for-3 with a walk and is now 0-for-19 in Class A.
Edwar Colina pitched 4.1 innings, allowing four runs on two hits and five walks and striking out four. Tanner Keist pitched a scoreless inning, giving up three walks and striking out one.
ELIZABETHTON 4, KINGSPORT 3 IN ELIZABETHTON
With the score tied 3-3, Ryan Jeffers hit a one-out double in the ninth. After an intentional walk, Trevor Casanova delivered an RBI single to win the game for the Twins.
DaShawn Keirsey was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk and is batting .326. Lean Marrero was 2-for-3 with a walk and is batting .367. Jeffers was 2-for-4 with a double and is batting .408. Yunior Severino was 2-for-4 with a double and is batting .351. Ariel Montesino was 2-for-5 and is batting .333. Casanova was 1-for-5 and is batting .371.
Tyler Palm struck out seven in five innings, giving up two runs on eight hits and no walks. Derek Molina struck out five in three innings, giving up one run on two hits and two walks. Rickey Ramirez pitched a perfect inning. His ERA remains zero through seven innings.
GCL ORIOLES 6, GCL TWINS 4 AT ORIOLES
Zachary McLeod hit a two-run homer in a three-run first for the Orioles. The Twins closed to 3-2 in the fifth, but the Orioles scored three more in the sixth. The Twins scored two in the ninth and had the bases loaded with two out.
Yeltsin Encarnacion was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and is batting .367. He is 8-for-14 in his last three games. Alberoni Nunez was 2-for-4 with two doubles. Gabe Snyder was 2-for-4 with a double and is batting .333. Tyler Webb was 0-for-3 with two walks and is batting .359. Janigson Villalobos was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .346. Samuel Vasquez was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk and is batting .304.
Tyler Benninghoff pitched four innings, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk and striking out two. Denny Bentley struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up three hits.

The Twins trailed 1-0, led 3-1, trailed 5-3, but then scored four in the fifth and four in the seventh to take control of the game. The four runs in the seventh came on just one hit, a single. There were two walks, two hit batsmen, a wild pitch, and an error.
Nomar Urdaneta was 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs. Carlos Aguiar was 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk, scoring three times and driving in four. Victor Heredia was 2-for-5 with two runs and is batting .338. Brahiap Carrillo was 2-for-5 and is batting .309.
