Minor Details: Games of July 24

Stephen Gonsalves pitches well and walks no one.  Another big day for Brent Rooker.  Alex Kirilloff keeps hitting.  Trevor Larnach is having no trouble adjusting to professional baseball.  Tyler Benninghoff has a good game in a GCL Twins loss.  Miguel Rodriguez is nearly perfect for the DSL Twins.

ROCHESTER 2, INDIANAPOLIS 0 IN INDIANAPOLIS

Miguel Sano singled home a run in the first and Edgar Corcino had an RBI single in the seventh.  Stephen Gonsalves and two relievers took it from there.

Gregorio Petit was 2-for-4 with a double.  LaMonte Wade was 2-for-4.

Gonsalves pitched seven shutout innings, giving up five hits and no walks and striking out four.  In his last seven games, he has gone 3-0, 0.45, 0.99 WHIP.  His ERA fell from 5.89 to 3.04 in that span.  Particularly notable is the no walks yesterday--in his six prior starts he had given up 14 hits but had walked 21 in 33 innings.  D. J. Baxendale pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two hits.  Alan Busenitz struck out two in a perfect inning.
