Apparently Glen Taylor drove all the way to the Twin Cities to meet with Toppest Jimmy and they arrived at an "understanding". Kay.

Sadly, I must announce that the daily "Off-Season's Greetings" reports will no longer appear, at least for a while.
Our local hospital/nursing home has lost their chaplain, and I have agreed to fill in until they can find a new one. This will be in addition to my job as pastor of the Wheatland Parish. As God has not seen fit to give me any more hours per day than the twenty-four everyone else gets, that means some things have to go. Unfortunately, this is one of them.
I intend to keep the Rewind feature and the birthday list going, although there may be more days when the birthday list does not get updated. I hope to once again do "Minor Details" when spring rolls around. And who knows? Maybe the chaplain position will be filled quickly and I'll be able to bring "Off-Season's Greetings" back at some point. I do hope to do a post every week or two just to update how Twins players are doing. For now, however, the daily reports will not take place.
I will provide independent confirmation that your priorities are correct.
A few months ago, the dog developed a growth in her side. The vet said it might be nothing or it might be cancer, but to find out would probably cost upwards of $1,000. We decided she had lived a good life in the years since we adopted her (she was a puppy mill rescue from Missouri), and rolled the dice. So far, no problems until yesterday and her paw kept gushing blood whenever she went outside. We went back to the vet today to discover a huge growth on her paw between two toes. Same sort of diagnosis from the vet except treatment will be even more costly and require amputation of the toes. Plus, now that's two places where she's suggesting she might have cancer. Hug your pets, everybody...
I second that emotion. We recently lost our special little rescue dog to heart failure.
Sorry to hear that, we never get enough time with pets. Cancer took a our dogs over the last couple years and it went way too quickly following the diagnosis.
RIP, Paul Allen (Microsoft cofounder). Only in Minnesota do you need the parenthetical clarification.
Wow. He had a lot of irons in the fire still, too.
Cubs bench coach Brandon Hyde interviews with the #MNTwins today for the vacant managerial job, I hear. Had previously reported the interest on TV + podcast. pic.twitter.com/0cmz4P5OI2
Previewing the @Timberwolves season at this point is something of an irrational exercise, but it starts in 48 hours, so we made @brittrobson do it anyway.

The first sentence of this tweet is classic.
