I didn't know what to do this morning. I hadn't realized it was today and I was extremely confused when I went out to get doughnuts.
Man, fall weather is here! Highs in the 70s! Battle has begun with my yard! I'm slowly convincing a stump to rot, and have just chipped out a 4 inch diameter root from my planter box! Take that nature.
Yesterday's spin-class, swim, and leaf-raking during heavy winds (to make City of H'istan's deadline of leaves-to-the-curb by Sunday), followed by today's swim/spin-class, and more leaf-raking, weed-pulling, and shrub-trimming has me exhausted. Luckily, I've been powered by Kevin Bacon's BLAST sandwich (bacon, lettucespinach, avocado, smoked salmon, tomatotomato paste, on thick slices of Italian wheat paesano bread.
But my arms are shot.
BTW - KB is somewhat of a neighbor, to the west of H'istan in modest Litchfield.
I hear he goes out in disguise occasionally, so you'll need good eyes.
Just back from trip to see the boy at the U of M. We had lunch, then watched Bohemian Rhapsody I always loved their music growing up. I went in not knowing all the details of Freddie Mercury. I was moved enough to wiping tears the last 30 minutes of the movie. It was a fun, emotional ride and I truly dont care what the critics say. Go watch it.
I felt similarly. Then disappointed that some of the emotional moments were completely fabricated. Music was great though!
I'm making pumpkin waffles for breakfast tomorrow. The best thing about this is that I'll get to eat pumpkin waffles. The second best thing about this is reading the comments on that post again.
Gold. Pure gold.
I cleaned out the cupboards yesterday. We had 6 kinds of flour!

It's ok that I mixed them all together, right?
It's okay with me, anyway.
