I have to catch a plane tomorrow AM (last trip of the year to Omerha) so early voting at lunch today. Gotta do what you gotta do.
They do early voting in a Native American art gallery by my place which is always nice to go and visit. The precinct I'll be working at tomorrow is in a teen youth center, so we have couches, TVs, pool tables, etc. Much more comfortable than an elementary school gym or something.
The Election Authority was hoppin' today -- took ½ hour, but I've been counted.
Well, this is pretty cool. The Sand Hill ran just a mile from the farm I grew up on, and I've tubed more than once along the section below two of the drop structures.
Baseball-reference identified a certain Twins pitcher as tying Andrew Cashner with the most Ks in 2018 after starting with a 3-0 count (6).
I think I remember one early in the year. I forget the batter, but he swung 3-0 at a high fastball and Odo threw it twice more to strike him out. Never once threw it in the zone.
That's cool. Sounded like the Twins really wanted to keep him. Not enough to make him manager of course, but it sounds like they got their top 2 choices for the dugout.
Word to Rhu and Mike: have we discussed solar sails recently?

The Future Of Baseball Won't Look The Way You Expect
So you're saying not to rule Philo out yet?
Willians Astudillo did have a good season.

haha, that actually is not at all surprising.

Dan Hayes is reporting that Derek Shelton will be the Twins' bench coach again in 2019.

My hypothesis: it's Rama.
