With a seating capacity of 21,000, the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah is also a very large hall.

You know, now that I see who was on the committee, Harold Baines is exactly the kind of player Bert would vote to put in the Hall of Fame.
A blowback top the more analytical voting approach that has seemed to be slowly creeping into the BBWAA was inevitable. Can't let the Google boys win.
There is no doubt in my mind that this group of 16 old-schoolers are intent on trolling the statheads. Too bad its induction into the freakin' Baseball Hall of Fame they are using as their vehicle.
We’re in nyc for a couple of days this week because the good dr. had some travel money to burn. I love the city, but sweet jesus how anyone affords to live in this town.
My curling team clinched an over .500 record for the first time.
One negative for the night: watched another person taken off by ambulance. I may need to purchase a helmet.
Congrats! A winning record is a good feeling.
I'm skipping a team for the first time in our main men's league (I've been skipping on our Sunday leagues which are designed for people to play up a position.) We're not very good, but we got our first win this past Thursday in our fifth game. It felt great.
It's been a lot of fun. Last night was the first time it didn't come down to the last two stones.
We've had a little luck on our side but we've been on the other side of it quite a few times in the past.
It's been a little weird for me because I've gone from playing third for a dominant team (we'd usually lose maybe two games during the regular season and lost in the league semi finals the last two years) to just trying to play at least seven ends. The positive is that it's still fun and it should make me a better skip in the end.
It's so much easier to skip when your teammates are good. When they're bad, there's a lot of changing strategy on the fly.

This doesn't sound good.
Oh, man. I genuinely enjoy his writing and he rarely fails to make me chuckle. Get well soon, Drew!
Agreed. At least, from my reading on that article, it sounds like he's at least expected to recover.
Behind a paywall, so I can't read, but The Athletic has a big piece on Lindsay Whalen....
Did you see the piece on her at The Ringer last month?
Nope. Thanks. Nice piece.
The Vikings are playing the Tennis Balls.
Got some quality wiki vandalism out of that game.
And apparently, they were seers.
