Friday evening I am supposed to be stargazing from Mauna Kea, but they've had historic snowfall in Hawaii. My tour five years ago was knocked out due to weather, and my back up day (Saturday) is sold out, so I'm hoping against hope...
FanGraphs released its Top 100 list. Four Twins make it: Lewis, Kiriloff, Graterol, and Larnach sneaks in at #99. Lewis has this opening description:
Lewis has drawn Derek Jeter comparisons for years and after a loud 2018, itβs hard to ignore that thatβs a real possibility.
But, there's also this:
and the possibility to stick at shortstop with some work.
So the Jeter comparison seems especially apt.
Hey, that's better than either Baseball America or Baseball Prospectus (no Larnach on either).
and I thought your link was going to be about this.
You just know that there's a conspiracy involved.
If it wasn't for you posting on Lyndon Larouche on FB and here, I would have never known that he recently died (nor cared).
That's just what they want you to think.
"My battery is low and it's getting dark."
That's pretty poignant coming from a machine. When the robots take over, I wouldn't doubt if there is a statue of Opportunity with this quote underneath.
heh, yeah i thought the same thing (not the whole robot apocalypse part, just the poignancy and bleakness of its "last words").
its "last words"
oh, and per yesterday's discussion, i was not able to ascertain opportunity's gender, though i gave a half-baked crack at it. i did find out that curiosity is female though.
I believe Spirit and Opportunity are a mated pair.

Hey Padre, look at #11 on the list!
Way to go, cousin Jo!
Hmm, looks like that's about it.

That doesn't really take any options off the table...
Robbie Grossman signs with the A's for 1 yr, $2M. I'm surprised he got a guaranteed MLB deal, especially in this free agent environment.
Guessing a few of you will be all over this:
Can I leave before FJM plays?
Me and you both.
Fire Joe Morgan is a band now? π
DK and I are hoping to hit it up.
Ok, who had "Jeff Teague" in the "4th Quarter Heroics Against A Good Team" pool?
*fans self*
I like the ref there starting to put up the three pointer signal.
