Polanco and Kepler's signatures are drying. Which Twin is the priority to lock up next?

"Who's Next? Who's Next?
It's always the ones that you least expect."
First lines from Tracey Thorn's "Oh! the Divorces".
Staying home sick with my 8 year old son today. Decided to watch all three mighty ducks movies with him.
Pretty sure I just saw Jimmy McNaulty as the paramedic who wheeled Adam Banks off the ice after getting cross checked by the Hawks.
Really made my day.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Either IMDB is wrong or I am.
Hmm, those could be fun for the boy. Never saw D3 though.
D3 was bad.
I mean, they sort of all were, but the first two were fun kid's movies. The third was a high school movie with really weird tone and kind of comically low stakes (from the worldwide junior goodwill games to... trying to beat the Varsity team in a intramural exhibition match?)
We watched the first one last night with the kids. They were cheering and quacking at the end. They have both today and Monday off (really school district? Lincoln’s birthday and Presidents Day?!), so we may move on to the sequels this weekend as well.
If they're celebrated separately, shouldn't Monday be "Washington's Birthday (observed)"?
Oh, you're in California, where the day is unnamed "Third Monday in February"
In Illinois ("The Land of Lincoln"), Linc's B-day is celebrated on his actual birthday (Feb 12).
Wondering why, in CA they're celebrating Linc's B-day separately but as a movable day ("Friday before the Third Monday in February"?). It's a state holiday on the 12th.
The third Monday in February is evidently not named for the entire state, but ed code designates tha schools call it “Washington Day.” And Lincoln Day is the “Monday or Friday of the week in which February 12 occurs.”
So my kids have had both of them off since they started public school, but the district has normally opted to do Lincoln Day on the Monday instead of the Friday. So this year, instead of consecutive 3-day weekends, they get one 4-day weekend. Not sure which way I’d rather have.
No reason Julie the Cat should have been sitting this long during Goldberg's play.
Well, it's official -- attempt #2 to tour Mauna Kea summit and the observatories was cancelled due to weather.
Boo. Sorry, dude.
Yep. It’s a cool place to be, hope you make it sometime soon. At least you weren’t trying to go up last week when they had 190(!) mph winds.
Enjoy the Big Island anyway, though!
We'll at least stop by the visitors center at 9000' tomorrow.
Philo alert. And others too of course. Read to the end.
