pfft, you're not even close to "amazing". i think sean once showed some of the more impressive ratios. my favorite ones are when five people comment on their opinion of a video, and it ends up with only one vote.

BTW, I was really hoping "Nobel Peace Prize Concert" was an orphan tag until today (since I knew I was the first to use it), but then it turns out that you had to go and use it one other time.

also, i love entering a tag that you 100% expect to be an orphan tag only to find out it exists.
I do not remember this. But I found a script to generate exactly that, searched for LTEs on the date it was last modified, and sure enough, I did do that. It was in response to something Pepper said.

It's only at 6.090909, but this post will always stand out to me in terms of LTE/★s if only due to the (relative) sheer quantity of both.
I may have read that post/lte string at some point, but likely not contemporaneously - Kernel was 10 days old on that date. Final comment is still true:

Notes on today's book: yesterday the longlist for the young people's literature category of the National Book Awards was announced. This books on this list tend to be primarily young adult novels, with a smattering of nonficiton and the occasional graphic novel. But this year a picture book made the longlist, which is why I chose it for today.
This morning the finalists for the Kirkus Prize were announced, and lo and behold, The Undefeated is on that list as well.
I got this book from the library a while back, and it's very impressive but I wasn't able to get either of my kids very interested in it. So I'm still forming my own thoughts on it.
I saw a few Kadir Nelson's at the Iowa Historical Society's Negro Leagues exhibit back in like 2008ish? 2010? Anyway, I've loved his stuff since.
I love Kadir's New Yorker covers too.
