Always a joy. My old neighbor (who scored Blake's only goal in its loss to Eden Prairie) had a hilariously splotchy beard.
As much as I love this feature every spring, I absolutely despised watching all the boys (including my son) on our local team "try out" for the all hockey hair team each season.
I agree 100% It's still a cool feature, but it seems to have "jumped the shark" these past few years. Now all the boys are in on it and it feels somewhat contrived, not organic like it was when it first came out.
True, but that "Crosby, Stills, Ernst, & Young" line was hilarious.
In case any of you aren't feeling old yet, in 47 days, Miss SBG (remember her?) will be a teenager. She's already exhibiting symptoms. Also, she's 4 inches taller than her mother and still has never played basketball. 🙁
She's a very complex individual with great strengths and maddening weaknesses, but I'm very proud of her.
That is a surprisingly succinct general description of "daughter"
Aye.
In about two months, Junior will be graduating from high school. It goes by so fast. Trey is a freshman and they are playing together on the varsity baseball team. It's the first time they've played together because of their age gap.
Well that's insane.
NWHL playoffs today.
After one period Minnesota is tied with the Metropolitan Riveters 0-0 in the semifinal.
Minnesota wins 1-0 in overtime.
Overtime playoff hockey. Always great.
It's finally warm enough to go for a bike ride, but my legs are mostly shot from all the curling, so that's kind of a bummer.
I'm starting to like this Kevin Fiala dude.
At least there's one positive from the Fenton regime.
I think I might actually believe this team ends up in the playoffs, as long as Dubnyk doesn't play much.
It's back!
