This is here.
Good lord that anthem ending was overdone.
The fake crowd didn't help, either.
Max!!!
GOSO
THAT's how you start a season!
OMFG
“Bitch,” indeed.
Well that's one way to start.
THE TWINS ARE GOING TO WIN THE WORLD SERIES
BOMBA!
Walking Rosario. That'll remove him from Cy Young consideration
I read someplace that Rosario was going to focus on drawing more walks this season. I'm not sure that will work--it's not that easy to change your approach like that--but this would be a start.
I don’t want to jinx it, but we’re on pace to set a record for runs in a season.
I also don't want to jinx it, but so far the 'tween inning ads aren't the massive repeats from seasons past. Among others, I'm looking at you, Harris Family.
Sounds like there might be as many Twins fans at this game as there are Sox fans.
By golly, you just may be right!
keep the runs train rolling
Huh, Batgirl is on Twitter
And decided to follow the Basement.
Hi Batgirl!
My daughter just got one of her books. I was excited.
My son read one of hers earlier this summer and loved it.
I watched the entirety of the 1-0 Mets-Braves game earlier. I don’t think this will go the same 2:32.
they're walking Encarnacion, right?
Got away with it.
I'm hitting concessions for a bowl of ice cream.
HAHAHAHAHA BOMBAAAAA
Two
Even in a sixty-game season, Kepler is on pace to break the home run record.
That's AJ's cutout in the stands, right?
Yes
Love it.
Don't wanna jinx it, but Kepler on pace to break Bond's record
Today
Oooohhh, spookied!
Max Power!
Kepler!
*taps webcam* Is this Zoom call working? No interest?
I would for sure, but the Milkmaid is humoring me and we’re watching the opener together.
well, "hi" to her, btw
I’m in line at Culver’s, too hot to cook.
I know what you mean; bowl of cereal tonight here
If meant to stop by while cooking dinner, but forgot. Sorry!
*Bauer gestures emphatically at the TV*
“See!?!?”
Berrios does not seem particularly sharp so far.
Seems to be pitching to the score...
poorly
Dang -- just lost an auction on a "new" autographed Twins' card from this year's Archives set:

First pitch to the backstop of the season.
RC?
Ryan Costello
Damn that’s sad.
Hope Max gets a lot more AB this game...
And hits a few more home runs.
AL-yay Corey, AL-yay
Just your ordinary 6-2 putout with the bases empty
Twingo!
Oh, man. Turns out I rather miss Twingo.
Apparently it's being scored as 2-U as the ball ricocheted off of Encarnacion
I just realized I have Mike Trout on my fantasy team.
Wasn't he my keeper?
No, your brother's.
Hip! Hip!
Rangers are getting no-hit through five at their shiny new stadium. Poor dopes.
Heh...Danny Santana breaks it up.
Rich Hill starts tomorrow for the Twins. What an amazing sentence.
There was apparently intense pent-up demand for sport. Yesterday’s Yankees-Nationals game was the highest rated regular season game ever.
Fauci effect
Had Fauci never seen a baseball in his life?
He's been kinda busy the last several years. But a couple minutes practice wouldn'ta hurt
Given that he's been described as a Nats superfan, I'd say yes, but it wasn't exactly the Queen Mum's first pitch in The Naked Gun.
Dobnak-Keuchel tomorrow is the kind of matchup that makes me grateful we're up by five runs at the moment.
shutting down the Zoom experiment -- I'm being sent to the showers
Aw and I just logged in.
It’s too bad this hasn’t caught on better. The calls were fun.
We'll keep trying
What is this, and how do I participate?
Oh yea, we have Clippard!
Evening, folks.
NORM!
Nice one Arreaz!
Man, I love Arraez.
I am rooting hard for his 0.9% chance at batting .400 this season.
Double figures. ITS NOT ENOUGH!
600 runs would fall well short of the 939 last year!
Holy smokes I got a free subscription and the Mountie in the booth. Watching baseball is really, actually very comforting in a strange way.
Also there was a weird commercial for season ticket sales that seems like it should have been cut but... who knows.
Statsheet in for the local boyos.
Really strange to hear the sirens in the broadcast background.
Not in that neighborhood.
I mean, sure, but weird that no crowd noise means real noise ... never mind you know what I mean and I know what you mean.
Sure, it’s great to have baseball and be winning, but this dork on the Windows Concepts commercials is the real gift.
This could have been a tragedy.
Woah.
Pablo Sandoval is forever known as “Cake Guy” in this house.
Always has been.
w00t!
Took a while, but I am back!
We're still on track for 60-0!
I’ve seen seasons with fewer wins than that!
And not that long ago.
