Nothing terrible has happened so far. Hopefully 2021 is off to a good start.

We're having our worst weather of the year today
I woke up to a beautiful summer day with hoarfrost covered trees. I had business in Fargo and the drive home was just beautiful.
I drive along the river road this morning and the hoarfrost was amazing. I took a few pics but they don’t do justice.
To be faaaaaair, it's only the second day of the year; mist and 34°
Crazy. I believe we got close to 35 degrees today. Our 6 properly spaced tables on our patio were full all night.
Well, let's see. At 2:00 a.m. today I woke up with an upset stomach. Within a few minutes it escalated to severe nausea and I had to rush to the bathroom where I spent the next hour heaving and retching every ten minutes or so. I got back to bed around 3:00 and felt fine this morning except for the acid burn in my throat. I'm assuming I ate something tainted, but there's a chance it was just overindulgence as my wife had no stomach issues at all.
It wasn't the alcohol...
Since I don't want to blame alcohol, of course not.
I discovered this weekend that having the same carpet for Thirteen years with dogs means there will be some disgusting business underneath. (mainly from our previous dog as she got older) the hallway to the bedrooms was pretty nasty. Thank goodness for killz.
Anyway, flooring is almost done. I should have hired someone. This crap is exhausting and I think I broke my thumb knuckle while pulling the carpet pad staples. I'll definitely be adding some special sugar my BIL have us to my coffee in the morning.
When we bought the current house, we rented our old one. I did not inspect often enough and when we ended their lease, the carpet and base were totally shot from dogs and cats. They hadn’t been keeping up at all. I couldn’t believe it. I definitely had to pay someone to fix it, and glad I did.
I am lucky my tenant bought the house from me. I think they took care of it well but I didn't have to find out.

RIP Paul Westphal.
I was a big fan. The 1976 Western Conference Finals win over Rick Barry and the Warriors was such a fabulous series.
Terrific ballplayer. And as Yogi Berra might've noted, completely amphibious
.
Wil Wheaton is older than Patrick Stewart was when ST:tNG began airing.
I just stared TNG with Aquinas last night (finishing Far Point Station tonight. We'll hit a few highlights from the first season, then move on.).
Whoa!
