I received my trophy mug for last year's victorious campaign of a fantasy baseball league. It looks real nice next to my other one.

Speaking of fantasy baseball...
(Also, HJ, you ready for that other league again?)
keepers locked and loaded.
Why yes, I did get a shot of the Pfizer vaccine this morning. And yes, I did start crying as soon as I felt that needle sink into my arm.
Congrats! One step closer to the caucus in Alexandria this summer.
Yes!
👏
April 9th will be shot #2 for me. A handful more of my staff have reported that they have gotten theirs. Nobody has reported picking up satellite signals from their electronic chip, and only one employee has started to grow an extra thumb. All kidding aside, I am feeling a sense of relief, yet on the other hand I am a bit nervous that everyone (everywhere) is going to start chillaxing their habits way too quickly and we may see the current mini-growth in cases accelerate. I had a long talk today with my public health rep (who is also a buddy) and there is growing unease in the public health community that the general public is going back to normal wayyyyyy to quickly.
Yes to this. I am fearful of another big outbreak. So many people I know are traveling all over for spring break or having family gatherings and the like. Just makes me nervous. I have isolated with my wife and daughter for so long that it seems weird to get out in the world, even to go get my shot (I took the wrong road to get there, realizing it, I had to double back!!!). I'm really hoping that we can get enough shots in arms so that the world can get back to normal and I'm not very happy with people taking unnecessary risks at this point in the game.
Still waiting for our stimulus payments. Still waiting for our vaccinations. I'm sure they'll get around to us eventually.
Stimulus #3 showed up in our account yesterday. Still no sign of Stimulus #2 though -- looks like that'll end up part of our federal tax filing.
I'm making plans for end of April for my first Omaha business trip in ages.
for some reason mine is being mailed tomorrow despite the last two being direct deposited
Well, you can try to check for it, but not helpful if it gives you the equivalent of a HTML *shrug*
Stimulus #3 showed up in my bank account last night. Which is great because we had to have a guy come this morning to clean out the main drain and learned we need more work to be done on it tomorrow. Yay?
We've gotten all our stimmies right away. Like, within the first day or two they've gone out.
Same.
Same same. Also got one for the Girl even though we didn't claim her as a dependent last year (but did claim a tuition credit or summat for her last quarter).
She is pissed that she didn't get one directly, despite having filed and paid like $1.98 in taxes last year.
Got our Biden Dollars the other day. Figured my taxes and looks like I'll clear about 14 dollars. Not that I'm complaining.....
I am scheduled to get my second Moderna shot on April 16th, the same day the new Mortal Kombat comes out.
My wife has an appointment scheduled for the 30th in St. Cloud, but then the pharmacy called today to get one tonight in St. Michael, which is half the distance to travel.
I'm going ot have to see if she can transfer her appt in St. Cloud to me
Sounds like IL will be 4/12. Going call pharmacies for sign up strategies soon...

aw, heck. I want the Twins to beat them outright, not through attrition.
RIP, Jessica Walter. She was an amazing mom to G.O.B., Michael, Buster, Annyong, and Sterling.
Came here to lament the same.
And Robbie, Charlene, and baby
Get after it, Minny!
