Game 82 – Minnesota Generals v. Kansas City Globetrotters

Maybe Kenta Maeda will give us a reason to watch?

I am kind of annoyed that the Royals used 5 relief pitchers yesterday and not a single one of them blew the lead. It's some weird new definition of "relief pitching" that seems particularly unfair when deployed against the Twins.

Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope your weather is nice and your neighbors fireworks last only until bedtime and no longer.

  1. Dick Bremer digging up Kevin Slowey poutiness bones late in this game πŸ™„

    1. I hadn't heard him do that for a long time. I thought maybe he'd finally gotten over it. I guess not.

      1. Slowey last played for the Twins in 2011. Ten years is a long time to hold a grudge.

        1. He was talking about how Swarzak pitched a spot start and went deep into the game and the next day told Gardy if he needed and inning or two he is good to go while an unnamed pitcher refused to pitch out of the pen.

  2. A team shutout would be great but Robles trying g his hardest to not make that happen
