They even provide the answers each week (albeit upside down)
We just stood in two 45-minute lines in stagnant hallways for high school ID and pictures.
People were piiiiiiiiiissed, but they were unhappy because of the poorly organized lines. I didn’t see anyone that seemed pissed for the reason they should have been - 100s of us were forced into a likely Covid super-spreader event.
I mean about 1-2% of us were wearing masks, so…
Our church choir director (who is also a HS choir director) had a positive test after feeling a bit crappy. He is vaccinated, and likens his symptoms to his second shot, so...success.
We've got vaccinations going for us (our family), but we still have one under 12. I think our stress level would be at least halved if that were not the case. I can't bring myself to care about much of the rest of the general population any longer, but I have a ton of empathy for medical folks (including my wife and my sis) and I am tired of the BS they are putting up with.
I'm right there with you on the younger ones. Once our kids can be vaccinated, I'll breathe a big sigh of relief.
I taught my first class in a mask today. It was uncomfortable, but so be it. I was very glad to have nearly 100% correct masking from the whole class (which is a requirement on my campus). I had to tell one student to put it on once, but that was it.
I almost didn't get to go, though. My allergies have kicked in to a level that I'm having some difficulty breathing, so I went to get COVID tested yesterday. I figured it was nothing, since I had the same symptoms at this same time last year, but abundance of caution and all. I needed to leave the house by 9 am to have a chance of making it to class on time, and the negative test hit my in-box at about 8:40. I'm still feeling crappy, but good to know for sure that it's not contagious.
It was a really fun show. Bought the tickets in 2019 … after multiple rescheduled or outright canceled shows in the interim, and then the delta, I didn’t figure ever get to use em.
That was some storm that came in this morning.
Twins this season after a break of 2 days or more - 0 wins in 5 games (2 doubleheaders) and they've been shut out 3 times.
So you're saying they're due!
Absolutely!
I'd say we're due
Charlie Watts died!
In the deadpool of who goes first from the stones I didn't have Mr. Watts at the top of the list.
Well, Keef has been undead for years, so....
RIP, Charlie.
So I subscribe to the Country Messenger newspaper, which covers Scandia, Marine, etc.
I got the new one today and they have the same crossword puzzle as last time. Has the world gone mad?
