There's whispers on the wind that I may be moving closer to R_R's industry.

Chicago Sky are going on a run in the WNBA playoffs, they won game 1 of the semi final series last night in double OT.
I have allowed myself to be a Chicago women's sports fan, the rivalries aren't as baked in.
Red Stars represent!
Someday they'll beat Portland in the playoffs. It has to happen eventually.
Portland can be a thorn in one's side
That day is today!
I've been checked out of baseball doings outside the Twins this fall and didnt know the Mariners are fighting for a playoff spot.
I’m in a car dealership because they want to trade in my 2 year old subie for a better, brand new model at less per month. Somehow the economics don’t make a lot of sense to me, but we’d be training two years of payments for a brand new car and brand new warrantee. And new tires. I’m confounded. Essentially, this is just a lease without it being a lease.
The used car market is wild right now, we recently sold my mother-in-law's 2016 Honda Fit to Carvana for 85% of the original sticker price. Sure, she only put 7500 miles on it, but she also put dents and dings all over the body.
The dealership will probably certify your car and sell it for close to what it was new. How much longer do you have on your lease?
Not actually a lease. We bought and have a couple of years of payment left. Probably not going to pull the trigger.
In May I did the same thing. I sold my 2019 RAV4 that had pretty low miles on it and in pristine condition for nearly close to it's 2019 list price. Got a new car for like $40 less a month and my insurance went down too. If you have a low mile, pretty decent shape used car, now is the time to sell. Finding a replacement vehicle that meets your needs may be an issue however.
Yeah, I keep getting letters from the dealership about my car. But I bought it new five years ago and, by some miracle, both parts of the powertrain warranty just expired at pretty much the exact same time. I've got about a year of payments left and I figure I can keep it going fairly easily for another ten years after that, so that's what I'm going to do instead of trading it in.
Spent some time at the baseball card shop this afternoon, and the card shop owner said he'd be going to the ballgame tonight. He recommends putting money against the Cards extending their streak - with the playoff clincher last night, he's expecting a lot of Flu-like Symptoms today.
