Well, let's hope we'll see some baseball sometime soon.

Ortho doc says lets not cut on you just yet, young man. (!!!!!!!) PT and rehab, gel shots if necessary, barring improvement the knife. I can't say I've ever met an ortho who didn't want to get into the slice and dice. I'm going to keep this one around.
Peg leg on hold.
Ortho who is willing to suggest and encourage the wait-and-see approach is indeed valuable.
My shoulder guy is likewise. He's like "I can get you to XX percent. Are you worse than that?"
Yeah, hip replacement was after other treatments...but still a shock when it was suggested. I don't know too many docs that are that anxious to throw surgery out on the table right away
I blew out my left knee a few weeks ago. Felt better for a bit, then blew it out again on Tuesday. When I tore the meniscus on my right knee this summer and chose the cortisone shot, the doctor told me the left knee looked worse on the x-ray. So, I am quickly progressing towards getting both knees replaced sooner than later. The $100,000 question is can I make it through one more summer of craziness before going under the knife.
As I think about what has caused my chronic knee issues I would rate them as: 1) Catching too many games (with probably bad form) 2) Jumping out of trees from way too high on a dare... repeatedly. 3) Working for 40+ years on hard tile floors.
And I’m guessing not in that order.
Well, you would be surprised at how many games I caught (sometimes 7 or more in a weekend) and how high of trees we would jump out of in the back yard. But... you are probably right. 😉
I'm sitting at home waiting for FedEx to deliver my work laptop because I have to sign for it. The delivery window they sent me was sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. I know, right?
You know it's going to be ~7:45 pm
Or tossed into a ravine along with hundreds of other packages.

That's where my new bike is!
