I don't remember a ton from my highschool poetry class, but one of the things that always stuck with me was "never capitalize a single letter in e.e. cummings name, for to do so is an affront to God and men." So this is causing some conflicting feelings. The deprogramming is going to be difficult (though, his is not really a name that comes up frequently in my day to day life).
I adore his work, and this will be tough to get used to. On the other hand, I did get used to single spaces between sentences.
Why did it take me so long to realize that the guy singing backup on the Hold Steady's "Magazine" is the lead singer from Lucero?

Heh. The other day Aquinas was trying to pronouce the word "defenstration" ("Never make fun of people for mispronouncing a word. It means they learned it by reading.") and Philosofette was convinced he was saying something that wasn't a word at all. I was able to come to his defense, and now the whole family knows about the 30 Years' War.
English "window" = German "Fenster"
