A welcome extension of Beverley's contract. Glad he'll be sticking with us a bit longer. I was in the no trade camp so I'm happy to see this team sticking together.

I really wish Peacock offered a World Feed of USA curling when the matches are on CNBC. Not only there are no ad breaks during the match, I really enjoy the posh gentleman's commentary.
If you have a VPN you can watch here: CBC Feed
I have no earthly idea what the hell NBC is thinking with their primetime coverage of curling. Ends can, and routinely do, change so much during the middle stones.
Right. Last night they missed a flub/fantastic shot during a break. So frustrating as a viewer. If they want to do ads, just so split screen. NASCAR does it all the time!
TSN/ESPN does that for the Canadian events as well and it works great, and is usually during the less important lead stones.
The wife's bank is giving away Timberwolves tickets to employees, so we snagged a couple for the March 5th game against Portland. I'm not a huge Wolves fan, but free is free.
They're pretty fun this year, if that helps.
It does. All I ask for is a competitive product. Our tickets are in the center section and pretty far back, but I'm looking forward to it. We're also going to the SCSU-UMD hockey game in St. Cloud next Tuesday, and we have Orchestra tickets for next Friday night (Strauss/Don Quixote), so it will be a nice little run of date nights.
PSG-Real Madrid on the CBS mothership right now. Crazy!
A very interesting twitter thread by a former #1 overall draft pick
My town has a gangbanger problem
Only four? We have nine toms patrolling the area.
Awesome triple by Jones with her last stone in the first end.
The Poissonnière: “I don’t want Canada to have the hammer! But they do!”
And a big hammer miss by Jones in the ninth!
RIP, PJ O'Rourke. Funny, acerbic, and brilliant. Back in the day, I used his Parliament of Whores as a supplemental text when I taught Intro to American Government.
