A wintery storm has us in its sight over the next couple days, but the extended forecasts seem to show a calm February ahead around here. Obviously, Winter loves to screw with you (especially in February), but the end may be in sight. What are you looking forward to when the weather turns nice and mild?

No 1970 Rewind today. Consider it a rainout. We'll try to get back on track tomorrow.
Who was supposed to start? Are they going to skip someone in the rotation or just bump everyone back a game? I hope this doesn't create another doubleheader.
I'm looking forward to going to the dog park and riding my bike. And outdoor sex, of course.
At the dog park?
Im looking forward to spring because it gets me out of the germ infested, get side eyes and questions because I wear a mask, world of the retail business and out in the solitary world of mowing grass .
We were supposed to get rain all day yesterday here in Sedona, but only had a couple minutes two times in the later afternoon. In the evening though it rained fairly steady, and then turned to light hail/sleet at bedtime. We have a pretty dusting of white on the back yard and the tops of Castle Butte behind us here today.
I am itching to get back on my bike again. I should probably start looking for time to finally install the front derailleur and take care of a couple rust spots.
Biking on a trainer in the basement just isn't the same. I don't mind biking while watching soccer (it helps to have a running clock), but I just can't find anything scripted to keep my attention.
For sure, although I traded my trainer for a stationary. I do it because I have to do something, but I'll never like it. Pandora does help, though.
I am looking forward to golfing outside again. I play weekly in a golf simulator league, but it's just not the same. Also itching to get back on my bike.
Looking forward to walking to/from work. It's not far, and I could make it happen in the winter, but the road/sidewalk conditions alone make it unpalatable, and then when you add in the cold... it's just a 5 minute walk, but it's a nice part of my day.
I have a $25 Twins gift card that I probably won't end up using. It's good for tickets online (and I don't plan on going to games any time soon, mostly because I'm not driving into the Cities any time soon) or for merch in the Pro Shop in person (which I similarly wouldn't be visiting). It doesn't appear good for merch online, I'm guessing because that's routed through MLBShop and not the team directly.
Anyway, if anyone wants it, I can send them the code and you can venmo me the value of the card.
I love winter, so I’ll be sad to see it go. I’m hoping we get enough snow in the next couple days that I’ll be able to take the Poissonnière out snowshoeing for her birthday this weekend.
As for what I’m looking forward to, not having to bundle up the kiddo in snow gear before walking her to school will simplify and expedite morning routines.
From Chris Jaffe... 30 years ago today Mr. Burns tried to stack the company softball team. With some good players—living players. And now I feel old.
Considering that I'm currently walking with a fifty pound pack on a treadmill two nights a week, I'd say I'm most looking forward to moving that outside.
Are you training for the counter-invasion of Ukraine?
Boy scout hiking trip.
