When I see "Skidoo" I automatically think "Arctic Cat, Polaris, Scorpion, Rupp, Moto-ski, Ski-daddler, ..."
When I see “Arctic Cat,” I immediately think of Thief River Falls, and then Steiger.
I get the first one, but not the second. I automatically think DigiKey.
Same. It was really nice when doing electronics in college. Buy something from DigiKey and it would show up the next day or maybe day after if I was too late.
Ditto. I remember ordering from DigiKey and from Jade (Torrance CA?)
I’d never seen a tractor like this before we moved to TRF, where they were built. They made a big impression. I saw one on a flatbed headed northeast out of the People’s Republic last year and about swerved off the road.
I’m not sure if it was coincidence or not, but TRF Fire’s engines were all painted that Steiger Green color. That was a shock to my sensibilities.
I knew of Steiger from their Fargo factory, no clue they originated in TRF. All around us, though, when it came to four wheel drive tractors, Versatile was the name (and later John Deere).
Fire engines that green color is pretty common, actually, for the really large trucks.
I imagine they use the high-vis green so it's easier for people to find when they misplace their heavy equipment.
I am on record as loving the aurora green Wolves jerseys, so I love this.
Has there been any word on how the Pohlads feel about the lockout? How about the Saints?
Do the Pohlads even know they own or team or that the owners locked out the players?
legit laughing 😆
Absent any indication to the contrary, I’m going to assume the Pohlads are fine with the lockout and are willing to sacrifice the health of the game for an even larger percentage of revenue.
They’re free to correct that impression by contacting a journalist and breaking with the Commissioner at any point.
A friend sent me to this article today and I gotta say, I think Verducci makes compelling arguments.
