I like that our trash and recycling collection is on Mondays. It feels like a nice way to start the work week anew.

Likewise, hj. And Monday refuse & recycling collection means I never have to ask myself if it’s Thursday.
Or Wednesday! Unless I want to know if I missed it.
Wednesday for us as well. Thursday is street sweeping. One Thursday per month (weekly during leaf drop season) they pick up yard waste (no grass clippings) from the street, but we also have a green waste bin for clippings and compostables, which is part of the Wednesday routine.
Trash is Monday here too.
Recycling is every other Friday, which is nice it's on Friday to bookend the week, but a pain to remember is it the right week or not.
Our trash and recycling day is Friday. We must be early in the route as they come by before we're out the door so I have to ask myself if it's Thursday to take out the carts the night before.
Monday here as well. Its nice to have the whole weekend to prepare for the third Monday of the month bulk pickup.
I take this as evidence that the owners are about to make a strong pro-union offer, which Jeter would naturally object to as he as always been unable to move left. https://t.co/hLk6O1rza6
Have to chuckle hearing my mom ask Alexa on my brother's Echo Dot to play a certain singer "please". Well, good habits stay with you.
I always tell Siri thank you when she fulfills my request to turn off lights or turn on the TV, etc.
Thanks to both of you for your efforts to keep the Cylons from annihilating us.
Oh, I'll say "please" at times as well, but I know that I'm doing it frivolously.
Our trash is every Monday and recycling is every other Monday. I agree that it is a great day for pickup except when we have freakin' blizzard conditions every other week on that day and the collector pushes it back a day or two.
If one is trying no to line MLB owners pockets due to the lockout, would buying St. Paul Saints tickets still help out the Pohlads since they are minority owners?
