1. I'm on board with any decision about moving up or same round. Also, I'll not be available for the draft, so if you can go ahead and make sure yahoo picks all the best players for my team, that'd be good too. I'm actually kind of excited to see what I get from an auto-select team.

      1. Right. Think of it as an arbitration hearing; the player gets a bit more expensive.

4. BoSox announcers going on and on about the Twins playoff plight. You'd think they'd be more sensitive on the subject, lol.

   1. I was surprised to find out there is a ballgame being played during all the interviews going on.

      1. The Twins are winning 6-1, so I suppose they don't really want to talk about the game.

            You know, we might have a .500 record this spring training (so far), but the pitching has been pretty commendable, all things considered. Let's hope that carries over.

5. The St. Paul Saints open their season tonight in Louisville. Someone called Mario Sanchez gets the opening day start. He's twenty-seven and has been in the Washington and Philadelphia organizations. He's made six appearances (three starts) above AA and has a record of 0-2, 11.05 in 22 innings.

6. Our house has gotten a little messy over Covid, so Sheenie hired someone through a service to come by and clean things yesterday. I'm going to

   That person left abruptly saying there was a "family emergency." Sheenie then got a call from the service today that the "family emergency" was actually that the housekeeper was horrified to stumble upon things in our house indicating a support for the Confederacy. Um, wtf? Ok, I thought, I do have a lot of Civil War books, so maybe the title of one of them triggered this person. Nope, we got clarification that the housekeeper was triggered by our bobblehead collection. Now we have a very eclectic bobblehead collection amassed through gag gifts over the years, but the only non-baseball players are: Thomas Edison St. Paul A caveman who invented the wheel Thomas Jefferson Bill Clinton Jesse Ventura Abraham Lincoln Who exactly in that list is pro-Confederacy? It sure isn't Honest Abe. I mean, yes, Thomas Jefferson has all sorts of issues but if you can't come into someone's house and not be traumatized by a bobblehead of Thomas Jefferson-especially when it is next to Bill Clinton and Abraham Lincoln-you might as well never leave your home. My goodness.
