I tried to log in to my work laptop this morning and found it to be encrypted with BitLocker and I have no idea how or why. Our site's IT guy is on PTO, so it looks like I get a free day off.
Ugh, some jerk got me my recovery key so now I have to work.
Jayson Stark had the same question as you Rhu_Ru and since pitch tracking began in 1988, there have been six games to have a first and last pitch homer. Here are the other five:
The 2018 game started with back-to-back home runs and ended on back-to-back home runs. The final home run was on the first pitch so Dominic Leone gave up a tying home run and the very next pitch lost the game.
cool
For those who like to watch but don't Bally, the Wolves are on ESPN tonight at 8:00 and the Twins will be on the CW23 (WUCW). The Wild are on ESPN+ at 7:00 but that requires a subscription.
Like an ESPN+/Disney-bundle subscription, or separate provider altogether subscription?
They are on ESPN. Don't know how that translate to an ESPN+ subscription (I usually have to provide a cable login to watch ESPN stuff online)
There should be an ESPN+ option to watch, but you never know with these clowns.
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Trevor Bauer has received a two-year suspension from Major League Baseball.
What are the odds he never plays again? I know I'd be pissed if the Twins signed him after the suspension.
I have a feeling teams won't want the headache, Max Kepler might miss him
Mrs Runner and I were updating finances in Quicken after work today, and while I was leaning on the bookcase next to me that it felt like an earthquake, even swore I heard a little rumble. Sure enough, local news tonight confirmed it was a shallow 2.8 south of St. Louis -- those years in Los Angeles paid off
Sources: 76ers All-NBA star Joel Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and mild concussion in series-clinching Game 6 win last night in Toronto. He will be listed as out and there is no timetable for his return.
Embiid got this injury with the 76ers up by 29 with 4 minutes left in the game.
In 2014 I fractured my orbital, and likely suffered a mild concussion, playing beer league softball. This year I developed a fistula between my sinus and my eyeball. Turns out that when you need to evacuate snot out your nose and you have an unnatural pathway the snot will flow from your eyeball. Says the specialist, "how much can you stand". Me, "enough not to see the knife". We were down by at least 4 in the bottom of the 7th.
😳
Has an NBA player ever fouled and not been like, "Whaaaa?"
NBA, NCAA, high school…no. That stuff is taught early.
In high school the player would raise their hand (most of the time) when a foul is called on them. Then again, they couldn't take two steps without dribbling like now, too.
Programming note: remainder of Wild game on Bally Sports Extra now (I’m dual-screening with the Wolves).
1251 on xfinity, if that helps.
I'm used to the KAT and ANT being reffed differently, but compare it to the way Ja Morant is reffed s reallllllly something. And I like Ja!
I like Ja too, but damn, it sure seemed like the refs decided that they could really speed up the season by ending the only series that was still going on.
The Timberwolves dominated this series. It’s unbelievable that they didn’t reach game seven, let alone win the series.
"dominated" is a wee stretch.
Wolves played poorly late in what, three losses?
Yes, but otherwise had very few poor quarters. Disregard anyway; I was emotional and in my cups

He's available now if you want to stash him...
